I wouldn’t recommend these ppl at ALL! They were “black topping” the road and decided to just leave this sticking out. I was going under 25 miles per hour and hit it! When called to ask about getting reimbursed for my tire the lady attempted to say “It wasn’t their fault” but yet they didn’t have a cone over it ??. When ask if I could speak to someone else she said “she was the only person in office, and the other person was just going to say the same thing.” ... Read more

if i could 0 i would!Very RACIST , unprofessional,& RUDE!No one holds each other accountable! They kicked me out of the store for asking for their company insurance so i could get my car taken care of (which they were liable for). They did work on south college str and left a HUGE pothole in the MIDDLE OF THE road along with their residue from work in the public street . The front desk clerk ( Ms.Casey) wouldn’t even give me a business card nor the company’s email so we could keep in contact to work things out! They lied about their names and were very dismissive! DO NOT SPEND MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY!!DO NOT SUPPORT RACIST , UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE PEOPLE! ... Read more

This has got to be the most unprofessional company I have ever been misfortunate enough to deal with. They started tearing up the road in front of my house yesterday and I immediately got two flat tires on one side of my vehicle. In result, my child is missing school and my infant is missing her 2 month check up. I called and spoke to William Liveoak who is a production manager from what I'm told. Besides being completely unprofessional and uncourteous, he was dismissive and rude. Ultimately, he said he would call me back and discuss the issur further. Meanwhile, his foreman Jackie and a city worker both came to my house and offered to inflate my popped tires, which we all came to an agreement that wasnt a good idea due to the holes in them. During our interaction, which couldn't have been but maybe 10 minutes, Jackie lit cigarette after cigarette while not breaking his gaze from my breast at which my previously 8 week old daughter was nursing. I dont know what has made me more uncomfortable during this entire interaction with D & J Enterprise. Nonetheless, I continued to wait to hear back from either Jackie or Liveoak. Roughly 5 hours have passed and I decide to call Liveoak back. His rude, snotty and downright wanna be southern talking secretary informs me that they are not liable and it's considered road hazard. The road they are tearing up and causing this hazard is my own fault? 2 tires on the same side of my vehicle? It's disheartening to know our country has gotten so uncaring for our fellow citizens. Its a shame that people who run these businesses are so money hungry they feel its ok to treat people so unkindly. Liveoak or his foreman Jackie could have figured out a way to help fix this situation as they promised but just like Jackie smooshed his cigarette butts into my yard, thats exactly how they feel about customer service. If you have a choice, stay far away from this company. And if you feel like being lied to the by all means stsrt by calling their poor excuse of a secretary Kaycee. ... Read more

D&J Enterprises Inc. was contracted by Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) for the Highway 280 renovation at the 280/147 (N. College St.) intersection. On August 15th 2021, we struck an unmarked, deep construction-manufactured trench stretching the road immediately exiting 280 (from Birmingham) onto 147 (right across from the Chevron). We were traveling about 25 mph and focus was primarily on merging onto 147 from 280 when we struck the trench. It was apparent damage had been done and we immediately took the car home to find the tire warped requiring replacement tires and alignment. We shortly returned to the scene to take photos and we found other vehicles were parked in the same location taking pictures of the trench and damage done to their vehicles. Multiple vehicles were hitting this trench hard and abruptly as we were taking photos. A detailed claim was submitted to ALDOT and ALDOT finally (after 4 weeks of paperwork and paperwork notarization) passed the claim and responsibility of the damage to D&J Enterprises Inc. All relevant information was emailed to D&J Enterprises Inc on 9/20/2021. Shortly after the email, access to the files and information was requested by another email from the company and access to the files was granted to this email address. No response was ever returned by D&J Enterprises. A follow up email was sent 10/4/2021 that went unanswered as well. D&J Enterprises Inc was negligent for maintaining a safe, marked construction zone that resulted in damage to multiple vehicles at the 280/147 section of Highway 280. D&J Enterprises Inc was also unprofessional in the fact they did not even have the courtesy to acknowledge the incident (despite proof of a second email accessing the files). ... Read more

So this company is paving 280 in auburn Alabama. As I was coming from lake Martin they have lane closed which is fine. With the cones the lane is to small for anything more than a compact car to get down so you have to ride one tire on road and off of the shoulder again no problem. Traffic slowed to a stop there was a guy flagging people from other lane as we approach the man with flag he proceeded to start yelling and using profanity. If the lane is to small and you are in fear of getting hit back up. All cars were going 5mph so not like any one was speeding up on him he just thought I’m the man watch me cuss out this lady. Then I called there office and the man “in charge” said that that is the price of progress. Makes a lot more sense why the man used the Lai gage he did at a lady because of your boss doesn’t care why should you ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that DJ Enterprises - 7262 Twin Beech Road has to offer. These amenities include Drive-Up Access and Unstaffed Location. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
