Original review: Very poor retention service and lacks value. Just received a high rate increase for my unit. Then I check the rate for the same unit size on the website (which they have a large vacancy of) is significantly less. By almost $200 ! So I reached out to Kendra (property manager) about it and all she offered was a short term discount of a whole $27 per month. Just wild to me how they operate and truly prove their lack of value of current, loyal customers. To add to it, their rates are much higher to comps in the area. Bottom line: if you need a storage unit for only a couple of months, then maybe it's acceptable. But I would strongly suggest just going elsewhere. This is a facility that operates strictly in a manner of high turn over and lacks value of their customers. They also do not offer pro-rating upon move-out, which is only advantageous for them. -Review from a customer prior to buying out the original owner, Life Storage -which was A LOT better. ... I deleted my original one star review, and I am changing my rating to 5 stars. I received a call from the main office (I wish I could remember the name of the lady who called me) She was very friendly and extremely helpful. She made me feel valued as a customer. She pointed out a few areas where I misspoke, I appreciated that as well. I do not want to be unfair in my review if there was something I was wrong about. She made everything right and she went above and beyond to take care of me. I will definitely be staying with this facility. ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
