I hand used this location since 2019. I have had storage units there. Very very clean. Today I had to rent another unit. The young lady at the counter was very professional and did the entire rental paper work very quick and very professional. Very nice to do business with people that know their business and give you such a professional outcome. I would recommend this location at white ln and Old River to everyone. Thanks ... Read more

The employee (Rob) we first spoke to you was very friendly and gave us tips on how to secure a storage unit being that there were no vacancies at that time for what we needed. We called at the right time a few days later and Learned one would soon be available. I came back the following day, purchased a lock on site and it was a fairly smooth transaction, no complaints. The facility was clean and the storage unit was ready to move inCan’t wait to start making some room in our house ... Read more

This place is reasonably priced and it is very clean. The grounds are well kept. The waterfall in the front is picture perfect. My storage unit is reasonably priced for what I have to store. They have specials from time to time, 1st month free or a free lock for your storage unit. They are open from 7-7p 7 days a week. I would definitely recommend this place. You can make your storage payment online for your convenience. ... Read more

I rented storage lockers here for about a year during a move simply because it was close to where I lived. I found the staff to be extremely rude more often than not. It was really hit and miss, sometimes they were not rude but more often they were very rude. More importantly though, I had items stolen out of a locker, expensive items. When I asked the staff, of course I got the "we know nothing" story. They said the cleaned the storage locker out two weeks before my rent was up; they claim to not know who cleaned it out and that my items were missing, yet cannot provide the day, time or who cleaned it out. They also put a lock on my locker two weeks before my rent was up despite the fact that I did not give them notice. I believe the Derrel's staff stole my property and then denied it. Their story was inconsistent. They told me they have NO security cameras, unlike almost every other storage area I have been to. I would NOT recommend this storage area. There are many others in the area where the staff is more professional, and your items will be safer. Someone could literally cut the lock off your storage locker and steal your property and because there are no cameras and the staff do not care, you will not recover your items. ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
