Read some helpful reviews of Public Storage at 560 16th Street, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

I’ve been in the area for years and have always passed by and the manager here has always waved hi to me, this is before I was a customer. Now that my husband and I are customers you can only imagine the service I get. Gisel walked us out to see the space, the facility was clean and safe although you may not think so with the area. I want to let everyone know many storage facilities could have this and that but none have Gisel. Thank you Gisel for all your hard work and service to keep our items safe. ... Read more

Really the only good thing about this storage unit is its location if you're nearby. There's a laundry list of issues here. - There aren't enough rolling carts. You HAVE to bring your own. - The front gate is often stuck open, so the security is a mess. - The elevator closest to my unit has been broken for WEEKS. - They're jacking up my rent 33% after 3 months of joining. - There is never anyone in the front office who can help you. - The app to control the gates doesn't work well so it's more of a tease than anything else. - The hours are TERRIBLE. Why close so early and open so late if there is never anyone in the front office to begin with? Honestly this place is a joke. 2 stars instead of one because it fulfills its basic duty, but nothing else beyond. The price is insane compared to other places. If you have a car, go elsewhere. ... I came in for my mother, and I were greeted by Gisel, she was a sweet young lady and had a smile on her face. She made sure my mom had the best space and made her feel comfortable. The facilities are clean although it was very busy. Gisel handled the office and made sure we were taken care of as well. Thank you, Gisel! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Public Storage - 560 16th Street has to offer. These amenities include Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Public Storage - 560 16th Street can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 25 to 200 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Public Storage - 560 16th Street come at a variety of prices, starting from $88 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $324 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
