Read some helpful reviews of People-s Choice Storage at 6209 West Kellogg Drive, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

If I could leave ZERO stars, I would. I have left 8 voicemails, 2 emails and all with ZERO response. In fact, I called twice and emailed YESTERDAY that I want to cancel and I want a refund and this morning I wake up to a bill in my email. Needless to say, I would NEVER recommend this company. They don't answer the phone and there's NEVER anyone on site. There is NOT a manager on site til 5 EVER. I rented the unit, didn't use it, didn't come in the gate because I never even got a pass code and have never even set my feet on the Kellogg location. I want a refund immediately and SOMEONE needs to call me back. Your corporate offices need to know that there is NOT anyone there and NO ONE answers the phone or return calls or emails. ZERO STARS. This is THE worst customer service experience I have ever had. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. And what a surprise, no one answers the corporate number either. Sounds like a company wide issue. Maybe a training class on how to pick up the phone and talk on it? Is it a landline and no one knows how to use it because it has a cord on it? It's actually pretty simple....you extend your hand and use your fingers to pick up the receiver, slowly bring it up to your ear and say hello to whoever is on the other end. Weird concept, huh?? Again, ZERO stars. ... Read more

I moved in to these but wish I had checked it out before hand. It's very sketchy & I worry about my belongings daily being stolen. Gate is completely unlocked and isn't supposed to be. Cameras are non existent etc. Very very dark at night. Can't get a hold of anyone when I need too. Was charged more than it stated I would be. Takes a really long time to be called back if I have a question or issue. Pretty frustrating. ... Read more

All positive reviews are 12+ months ago. Management says poor condition is due to weather, obvious lie. 6 months and no improvements made. Looks abandoned. Please check this place out for yourself before renting online. Thought it was weird that 85% of the units are empty, 8% are so damaged that they're unusable. No cameras, gate is never locked and I have yet to see anyone in the office during normal hours. I keep my valuables with me instead. Sketch at best! ... Read more

I have tried to email them with no answer. Called them several times and left messages with no return phone call or communication. I went to go look at the rental and it is in awful condition. It does not look safe, secure, or like there has been any upkeep. Several are broken, have gaps, and absolutely not functional. I went to the one that was assigned to me and it has a lock on it. It looks like an awful place that I do not want to leave my things. Especially not now that I cannot even communicate with anyone and trying to cancel my contract. Went in today and no one is there and there is a sticker on there for a fedex pickup from several days ago. Doubt anyone is even watching the area. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that People-s Choice Storage - 6209 West Kellogg Drive has to offer. These amenities include Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Gate, Parking and Online Payment. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by People-s Choice Storage - 6209 West Kellogg Drive can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 50 to 480 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by People-s Choice Storage - 6209 West Kellogg Drive come at a variety of prices, starting from $17 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $99 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
