The online portal to reserve units was not working so I visited the office to inquire about which units are available. Chrissy was super helpful and quickly found the unit size I was looking for was still available! She gave a tour of the building and explained all in/out details very well. The facility itself is impeccably clean and well kept. There’s free parking for customers at the side entrance and the unit itself was a STEAL for a 10’x5’ unit. If you’re in the downtown area I highly recommend as you absolutely cannot beat the price or location! ... Read more

Absolutely lovely and better in person. Chrissy and David were so helpful in some tough transition times in my life. The prices are fair per size since this place is higher quality than other dank, dingy, dusty storage units. I highly recommend them and this place. ... Read more

We rented a storage unit here. We we’re coming in town to move our daughters belongings into this unit. From the first day we got the unit there were daily problems with her key fob not working. On the final move day. We were completely locked out of the unit. Customer service was not able to reset the key fob. They also said they would have a sight manager call. He never did. We waited 3 hours with no access and no call from management. This was after four calls to their customer service number. Terrible! ... Read more

The facility is very nice—clean, easy to access, secure, and nice restrooms. My only complaints—somebody was running a business out of the first unit right where everybody enters. Sometimes a group of 4 or 5 people would gather there with their storage door open, crowding the area in front of the elevators. Additionally, during the peak of the pandemic, none of them wore masks. This created an awkward and uneasy feeling for me when accessing my unit. My second complaint is likely not unique to Tri-Village—our prices went up at least twice in the brief time we were there. In addition, they initiated a requirement that each customer hold insurance for their unit. If we had not acquired it on our own, they would have provided the insurance and sent me the additional fee. I just don’t like the idea of people getting into a situation where they rely on a storage unit, then get forced into higher and higher payments. In my experience, the storage unit slowly built up and it was not easy to come up with a plan to exit. My inclination is that storage facilities know this, and take advantage of it. Just a gut feeling. I wont be getting another storage unit without a clear plan of exit prior to entering the agreement. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Tri-Village Self Storage - 195 East Long Street has to offer. These amenities include Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Kiosk Available, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Tri-Village Self Storage - 195 East Long Street can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 25 to 400 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Tri-Village Self Storage - 195 East Long Street come at a variety of prices, starting from $52 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $830 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
