This is the best storage place I have ever used. They are very accommodating, very understandable and they have an excellent customer service. They go above and beyond for their customers. I used them for over a year and I’m beyond happy with their service. I 100% recommend. I will be sending anyone that I know that needs a storage their way. ... Read more

Great place I use to store my stuff! Very safe. The moment you walk into the office you can see the screen with all the cameras they have at the property (probably over 30). They also keep the place clean and this is also a family owned business so they're super friendly. You are never talking to machine like some other places lol. ... Read more

My unit was broken into there - unit 2311. They called me, so when I went there I was surprised to learn that not all my things were stolen. Only the choicest things were taken. All the units in my hallway were broken into. It was clearly an inside job. Someone who works there and had quit, knew what he was doing. I filed against my homeowner's policy. The Police took my report - but Best Storage would not give me a copy of their report. I think they knew an employee had done it. When I went in to complain, they accused me of being the thief. Storage places should protect us from their employees, not expose us to them. ... Read more

I wish I could say something nice, but unfortunately Best Storage Center is terrible!!! Store your stuff anywhere but here. We’ve had repeated leaks from the air conditioning unit that is above the space we rent. This in itself has been a pain, as we have to make multiple trips out there each time to check on the condition of our things. After the second leak, we requested a new unit and told Best Storage that they would need to hire movers to transfer the stuff, as we had some very large pieces of furniture. They agreed, but then never gave us a date, so we ended up with a few small things in one unit and most left in the larger leaking unit. After about six months of periodically asking them when they would get the movers in, they called us the weekend Hurricane Harvey was headed into Houston to let me know they had movers for the next day. I’m assuming they finally found some available because NO ONE IN THEIR RIGHT MIND was moving that weekend. I told them I couldn’t be there to oversee the moving of our stuff either; they would need to reschedule. Again, after a long wait and discovering they had started charging us for 2 units (the second charge was completely unauthorized), we moved the few things we had in the second unit back to the first (leaky) unit. We are still waiting for a refund on the fraudulent charges. This place is terrible. Do not store your stuff here!! ... Read more

BEWARE! Ive never used them to for storage but I used them for a uhaul truck. This people are not trustworthy. They charged my card after I had already paid them in full with cash. When I called the place to let them know about the situation the employee I spoke with said that she would speak to the person that was working that day. A few hours later she calls me back and tells me that the manager was working that day and that she pretty much stole the cash. Since I was working that day until late I sent a friend to go by and pick up the cash. Thank god i got my money back. After all this I looked at the receipt and turns out she had never input on the system I had paid with cash. The receipt was signed by Denise Morris. So be careful if Denise Morris helps you out while you're there. ... Read more

I'm not one to gush over a business, but these people are great. They treat you like they need your business. They will match prices with their competition but that was not an issue with me because they beat everybody elses prices. If you need more than one storage unit, they will give you a discount on both units. Terrific customer service. Need to borrow the hand truck or the appliance dolly? Not a problem. They have furniture dollies that are available too. I think they also have a truck that they loan out for local moves. They sell new boxes and have some used boxes to give sometimes too. You will be welcomed like an old high school buddy and they are genuinely glad to see you. I guess they are trying to bring back customer service. How retro! I love it. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Best Storage Center - 1810 Fry Road has to offer. These amenities include Climate-Controlled, Indoor, 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Online Payment and RV Storage. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
