I wanna thank Valerie for being such a good help, she redirected me to another storage closer to my home and did the whole vacating process for me. She helped me create a new under name so I can open gate with phone rather then physically putting in the code! Thank you Valerie ... Read more

Valerie is the best employee I've ever dealt with, she deserves a huge pay raise! Been renting from Public storage for years and have dealt with some pretty rude employees in the past. Valerie is always in a good mood and never makes you wait a long time if you need to deal with some thing pertaining to your unit. ... Read more

The latch on the rental unit I rented only allowed for a cylindrical lock. Valerie was able to provide me with an adapter so that I could use my own lock and avoid the lock rental fee as well as switching fee if I had moved units that had a different latch. I appreciate her being kind and patient. Especially helpful in this holiday season. ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
