I would NOT recommend this location to anyone. On January 2025, I began renting a unit at this location. I always paid on time and made it a routine to visit my storage monthly. Unfortunately on May 10, 2025; I went to complete another monthly visit at my unit. Upon arrival I discovered there was a RAT INFESTATION! I immediately took photos of the rat’s droppings and damages to show the representative on site. As I entered the office, the representative immediately stated , “let me guess you have rats in your unit”. Insinuating this is NOT the first time. I questioned if pest control comes and spray the property and was told there’s not. I was given the opportunity to take a photo of a pamphlet regarding Orange Door Storage. Because I did have insurance and was providing the number to the district manager, Bryan Edwin. After making several UNSUCCESSFUL calls. I finally was able to speak with Mr. Bryan that informed me he was not available due to losing his dog. I’m a dog owner myself, therefore I was understanding in the delay. I explained to him my unfortunate experience at his location. I was informed I can move my things out of the unit . However, I can NOT receive my remaining balance due to I had already paid rent for the month. On May 15, 2025, I went to the property and retrieve all my belongings that was NOT damaged. While removing the items , the property manager, SUZIE (who refuse to provide her last name or initial of her last name) was present. After completing my move, I spoke with Ms. Suzie again before leaving to inform her. I have vacated the unit and the only items remaining in the unit. Are the items that were damaged by the rats. Which was my couch, my mattress, a picture shelf, and a toddle bed. Which totaled up to $3,250. I was informed by Suzie and the other representative in the office. I could leave the damage items in the storage and they will dispose of it. I then provide Suzie with the lock for the storage and was told again. I CAN NOT RECEIVE MY REMAINING BALANCE due to the month rent was paid. As stated before I received the contact information for Orange Door due to I had insurance on my storage unit. After providing photos, and quotes of all items. I was told I can only receive a total of $250 for the damages. Due to the circumstances of the damages ! Pathetic right . Fast forward, I am not receiving calls from an collection agency stating. My storage unit was still collecting fees, even after communicating with the District Manager, Bryan Edwin and Property manager, Suzie. Confirming my move out and the reason for it. The entire operation is a SCAM and extremely filthy . If I could have left zero stars I would have, however I would not been able to assist you guys with the truth. I'm Giving Only 1 Star Because I Have too... I Have Had A Storage Here Since April of 2021, Last Month in March I Decided to End Dealing With THIS PUBLIC STORAGE Because They Kept Going Up on The Monthly Rent, Going up on The Rent AND The Storage Doesn't get Any Bigger Doesnt At All Makes Any Sense.. Upon Entering My Storage I Already knew in Advance That The Lock Was Cut off Because I Was Late Making My Monthly Payment BUT I Wasn't Over 30 Days Late, I Was Late Only By A Week OR 2 So It's Confusing on Why The Lock Was Cut in The First Place, Anyways Upon Entering My Storage Unit I Noticed A Set of 22 Inch Rims Were Missing, Black Truck/Suv Rims With Chrome Inserts, I Reported it to The Front Desk AND Was Told That There Was Nothing They Can do Because I had no Insurance, First off NO INSURANCE Was Even Offered to me AND That Entire Time Paying Storage Fees I Assumed I Already Had Insurance That Was Being Billed Within The Monthly Payments, Second I Suspect That THIS WAS AN INSIDE JOB, Once THEY Cut The Lock THEY open The Storage, Seen The Rims AND Stole Them, WARNING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rented a storage for just 3 weeks. Last visit was two weeks ago, and today I found out my tote bags and unlocked luggage were open. The locked carry on luggage was stolen. Though the stolen luggage itself was not worth much, there was my certificate holder from gradschool inside and it no longer could be replaced.
