There's a lot of variety with units depending on what you prefer. The prices are not too bad and honestly the staff was very helpful specially when asking about units/storage you might need specifically which I thought was important when deciding what units you need. ... Read more

I had a great experience with General Storage. The gentlemen who run the establishment even answered my call on a weekend and got me all set up! Never had any problems and the pricing was much better than any of the surrounding storage companies. I’d refer them to anyone! (Extra bonus- occasionally the owner has his puppy in the office when I would go pay rent and he was precious!) ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
