Update as of 3/20/26: I was finally able to get into contact with regarding this incident around February. Huge shout out to Taylor Perdue for her help and swift attention to this manner! She helped me navigate the police report filing and claim processes. Thankfully, a new property manager, Luis, has been hired full-time at this property and he's getting stuff done! With the help of them both, they've been able to get me taken care of and I'm being fully reimbursed for all of the things that were stolen. I really appreciate them for their attention to this manner and helping me getting a lot of those items replaced. Luis is also working his hardest to turn the property around and did a great job in handling me as a past tenant so future tenants will be lucky to have him! Original Review 12/31/25: I started renting a unit back as I was moving out of my college apartment about 3 years ago. While the process for moving into one is very easy (depending on where your unit is because there are a lot that are steep, tight hills to navigate throughout, especially if you have a unit in the back), moving out has been stressful. I visited my unit to finally move out on 12/31/25 since I no longer needed it and was going to get rid of the rest of the things I didn't need. Drove all the way from Atlanta to come face to face with a "See Manager" lock when I knew I was current on payments. No one was on site. Luckily, someone was able to come cut the lock off and I opened my unit to most of my stuff being gone and my unit ransacked through. Over 400 dollars worth of shoes and clothes gone. My old Xbox was gone. Weight set, gone. Old kitchen utensils, pots, pans, even old bedding was gone. There was probably close to 1k amount of property gone. A lot of sentimental things I had left over were no where to be found. I eventually found my lock thrown into a box in the unit so that's how I know someone stole my stuff because it was intentionally hidden. I was never informed about a break in but I'm guessing that's why the see manager lock was placed on there. I had spoken to someone about the unit the day prior but wasn't informed of anything. The fences at the back of the property are unsecure and anyone could easily jump them to get in or waltz behind someone who has the gate code. I've been going back and forth since then to not only get someone on the phone in order to figure out how to proceed with a police report and file a claim since I'm out of town, but also because I'm still getting emails and auto calls about payment when I've moved out.
