Climate-controlled storage units in Woodstock, McHenry County, IL, and nearby areas

Best storage facility I’ve been to yet, chose this storage facility because of how nice and kind keelie and michelle were all other storage facilities had rude and cold workers this was such a breath of fresh air

Very clean, secure, easy access in and out, love the drive in garage to unload or load up out of the elements, staff super friendly, carts are large for items to roll to unit...I would recommend ...we moved out only to go closer to where we moved and combine storage units to make it cheaper for us

I have had a very positive experience with Tim. He is from the crystal lake storage and he was very helpful and kind. I definitely would recommend this to my friends and family.

I just got a unit there, I'm moving from another location to a smaller unit. Where I'm at did not have smaller units and since I got most of my stuff out I don't need a large one anymore it's still close by and inside. We will see how it goes. Getting it was easy on line Will do another review when I get everything out in a few months or years lol

Listen here, surface-dwellers and soft-footed box-hoarders… I, Sir Wobbleton Bluenose III, have opinions. First of all, this “storage facility” is suspiciously clean. No proper mud. No respectable fungus colonies. Floors are dry, which I suppose is good for your fragile human belongings, but terrible for cultivating a decent moss carpet. I tried spitting in a corner to help things along. Was politely asked not to. Rude. That said… the caves (you call them “units”) are quite sturdy. Thick doors. Strong locks are available for purchase. The units are of exceptional craftsmanship. Could keep out lesser goblins and most raccoons. The human who guards the place was surprisingly friendly. I think the humans name was Adam, and he had a extremely polite conversation with me instead of screaming. It was fascinating. He then explained “payment options” instead of demanding tribute in bones or shiny beetles. Very confusing economy, but they seemed pleased when I handed over a magic rectangle called a "credit card" the humans use. Climate control? Strange magic. My collection of damp scrolls and half-eaten boots did not rot further. This is both impressive and mildly disappointing. Also, no toll bridge nearby. Missed opportunity. I suggested installing one at the entrance. Overall verdict: Good for storing treasures, cursed artifacts, and seasonal skull collections. Lacking in ambiance, mud, and proper echoing drip sounds. Still, I may renew my lease… if they allow one small swamp corner. As the humans say - 10/10 would stash again.
