Electronic locks in units are great and convenient unless there’s an issue, and then you’ll see how the customer service is non existent. While trying to empty the 2nd of my two units the lock stopped working effectively keeping me from accessing my belongings, no big deal right? Well… I was told no one was present to help on the weekend but could help on Monday. Two days away. ( when I’m moving) Thus is the second time entry to a unit has not worked, the last time I couldn’t speak to anyone and left emails and voicemails and magically on day 5 it was fixed without ever replying to my calls or emails. If the electronics work, then it’ll be great, if not, enjoy terrible customer service and slow action. You’d be better off going to a storage place that allows you to use physical locks on the doors. Don’t say I didn’t warn you. ... Read more

I rented a unit through the website which explained thoroughly everything you needed to know about the facility to include security, gate access, etc. The process was easy to navigate. Once I was at Midgard Harvest, I was highly impressed with the automated access for both the gate and the unit. The inside hallways were so clean, well lit and very spacious to allow movement of belongings. I called with a few questions prior to accessing the facility and the representatives were so helpful, very nice and polite. The unit was priced just right. I highly recommend Midgard Harvest. ... Leslie Ann contacted me as I was still finalizing my online application for a storage unit in a facility near my home. Good timing: I had just hit a snag and she helped me navigate the process. She was knowledgeable and friendly, and she got through all the pro forma details efficiently. Very glad I chose Midgard for my storage needs, and very pleased with Leslie Ann’s timely assistance. ... Read more

There was a confusion on the size unit I needed and the monthly amount with the representatives I had talked to earlier in the week. Darian called me directly and was very friendly and helpful in correcting the unit size and price. She also assisted me in finishing my online paperwork. ... Read more

Signing up for a unit was simple. I filled out an application online and was reached out to via phone. I can not remember who assisted me in signing up, but she was very kind and the process was simple. Once I installed the app, there were no issues with accessing the facility or the unit itself. The facility is well maintained and kept at a good temperature for climate control. I am happy with the size of my unit. They have carts for easily moving large or heavy objects as well. The move out process has seemed simple thus far! I just texted the number with my desired date and Amanda assisted me with the emailed documentation and day of process. I highly recommend them for your storage needs. I am only moving because I am moving into a home. ... Read more

We're glad to rent the storage unit, however the first person we talked with left out a number of items that we needed to be aware of due to costs involed.. the next time I visited the self storage, the young lady said she would send the 17 page contract to me via my email. She did no, so I really would appreciate a copy of the contract sent to me via my email address. ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
