I would give 0 stars if I could. They allow bums to break into their units without notifying the renter. Valuable items that hold sentimental value can be taken at any time without your knowledge. They don't check their surveillance. I highly don't recommend. ... Read more

Not having a manager on site is a problem. I have not been able to access my inside storage unit for 5 days. I am able to get through the gate but the keypads on the entrance doors to my building (there are two) do not work. One keypad doesn't make a noise at all. The other keypad makes a noise but doesn't release the lock. I am using the code they provided and have been able to access my unit a few times before. I've mentioned all this on the phone with their customer service twice now. And, yes, I have paid my bill in advance every month. Red Dot Storage CSR say they will escalate the issue but the last CSR suggested for me to call again when I am at the unit. NO, I will not call again while I'm at the unit. I've done that twice now without a resolution. They can call me when they fix the keypad issues. In fact, they said they would call me back and they never did. I had to call them back. The customer service people don't even have a correct layout of the location and were telling me to try doors that don't even exist. Its ridiculous and I am frustrated because I am in the process of moving. RED DOT STORAGE PLEASE HIRE AN ON SITE MANAGER FOR THESE TYPE ISSUES. ... Read more

Be cautious about this facility if you need a unit quickly. I leased a unit online and my access code didn't become active for a week. Until then I had to call every time I went and, after waiting in the call queue, I was given a temporary code. EVERY TIME. Finally, it worked. I question their security measures. I have an inside unit that requires code access to enter the hallway. However, there is another external access door without keypad near my unit that I have found unlocked several times. This makes the code access all but worthless. The door to my unit also appears to have had at least one attempt to "jimmy" it. but it still appears to be solid. Overall, not the best storage unit I've ever had but it will do for the low-value items I'm temporarily storing there. ... Read more
