Recently I had need of a storage unit. I storage is where I chose. My sister had previously rented from them and they were convenient and competitive and I found that to be true when I called as well. Anna was my agent and was so nice and friendly and very professional. The unit was just what I needed. Thank you Anna! Thanks I-Storage!! ... Read more

We rented from this company back in 2013. Over the years it’s changed ownership and that’s how business goes. But the price has increasingly gone up over the years to outrageous amounts. So on June 3rd we contacted the company over the phone letting them know we would be moving out of the unit and would be gone before/by June 13th. We were all moved out by the 12th. My husband walked in and let the desk know we were all done and officially moved out. A few days later we received a bill. We called and told the person who answered we were moved out and shouldn’t be receiving a bill. We were told that it was fine we were out and not to worry about it. Then we received a call from a young lady a few days later asking if we were moved out because she saw the unit was empty and the doors were open(like they instructed us to do) I explained AGAIN we were gone, we moved out COMPLETELY on June 12th. On June 27th we received a paper bill in the mail from them WITH A LATE FEE! Livid at this point I called and left a message asking for someone to call me. It was after hours so I wasn’t expecting a call that evening but certainly today. I ended up having to call them and spoke with Terry/Cherry who was very RUDE and basically accused us of not PROPERLY notifying them of us moving out of the storage unit. Good thing I have VIDEO of us moving out of the unit on the date we were supposed too. Incompetent is an understatement . I would NOT recommend this company. If I could give them ZERO stars I WOULD. It wouldn’t let me post my video but I have it if I have to cover myself. Support local my foot! I’ll use UHaul if I ever need to store anything again. ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
