This place is an absolute JOKE!!! No staff on premises. Once it switched to NoKe I absolutely regret being here. Show up, can’t get in the gate, can’t get into the storage units. Call customer service and you are on hold for over an hour each time. This has happened no fewer that 7 times in the last 6 months. I am here as we speak. Have been on hold for 47 minutes with foreign call center. Got cut off. Called back. On hold for 23 minutes. Was told the problem was fixed. Wait 10 minutes for the reboot and still can’t get into my units. I am leaving this place but have to find time to move!!! Please do not waste your money by renting here. It is a travesty!!! ... If I could give ZERO stars, I would. Rent goes up every other month, the gates won’t open half the time, the units are bug and rat infested, the batteries on the units die often where you have no access to your things and customer service is absolutely ATROCIOUS to work with. They have no idea what they are doing, hang up on customers when they don’t know what to do, will leave you on hold for 15-20 minutes without touching back. It’s absolutely aweful dealing with this place. Dont do business here if you have ANY other option. ... Read more

I have been unable to access either of my units because the batteries in the doors are dead. I have been locked out of them for over a month now, despite 6-8 calls to both Copper Storage (which is actually a call service in the Philippines!) and Noke corporation. Once I am able to access the units, you can expect me to vacate the property and take my business elsewhere. This is what happens when local owners sell out to corporate franchises - the customer service goes to $&@?. ... Read more

Drove an hour and half over to retrieve items from my locker only to discover the lock itself was out of batteries. This means you are SOL until a maintenance request can be submitted..... judging by all the reviews, Copper Safe should ditch the automated lock system all together or have a person onsite to change all the dead batteries. I walked around seeing if the other locks had any power, finding about a 50% success rate. It's truly a toss up as to whether you'll be able to obtain your own stuff or just waste 3 hours of your day. ... Read more

My unit was broken into. When I called customer service I could barely understand what they were saying because they did not speak English. They would not provide me the exact date when my unit was broken into. When I first rented the unit there was a camera pointed directly at my unit now the camera is gone. I will never rent from them again. This storage facility is protected by a tenant only access gate. When I arrived at the facility after being informed that my unit was broken into there was zero damage to the gate and there was no sign of forced entry. The lock was broken off of my unit and the back wall inside the unit was destroyed. Several items were stolen from my unit. I am glad I paid extra for insurance hopefully filing an insurance claim is easier than speaking with their customer service department. ... Read more

We rent a unit at the location in Cabot. We were very happy when it was Deer Creek. Since Copper Safe took over things have changed. I have been locked out of my unit for two weeks due to a dead battery. I went to get my suitcase for a trip I was leaving on in two days and surprise, surprise, I couldn’t get in. Sat out in the parking lot for an hour talking to Copper Safe who told me I had to call Nokia. Called them only for them to tell me I had to call Copper Safe for batteries. Sent a message. Went on my trip after buying a new suitcase. Went by to day (two weeks later) still can’t get in. Called Copper Safe and sent a message. Got a call back that went to voicemail saying needed to call Nokia. It was a local person that left the message, so I called that number back and got the call center again. My husband was on the phone at the same time and they finally told him they would send an expedited ticket. Meanwhile, I pay 114.00 a month for something I can’t access and had to buy a new suitcase as well. What a way to run a business. Very unhappy. I would give you zero stars if I could. I feel bad for the girls working the call center. It is not their fault. Update: I was asked by a manager to edit my review on09/29/23 after being told my issue would be expeditiously resolved. Two business days later and almost three weeks since I have been unable to access my property due to a dead battery, the issue is still not resolved. I hate to think I have to take legal action to obtain my own property out of a unit I pay for monthly. I will add as a positive note, they comped this months bill at least ... Read more

Let me start by saying that I have been renting from this location for over 15yrs and multiple ownerships. Since being run by Copper safe storage there have been nothing but issues. There have been multiple rate hikes going from $94 a month to $108 to $124 a month all in under 6 months time. When I inquired about the last change for 4/23 i was told it was a mistake with their system and that the rate was not changing. So then I get my Bill for 5/23 and its $129 and now there are insurance charges for 5/23 and 4/23 that i did not opt into. I have made payments and it not show up that i paid and ended up having to send bank statements showing it was paid on time and again was told sorry its our system. So needless to say i have been less than impressed with the current situation. As far as the facility its nice and has modern convenience of using your phone for entry and exit. Update: Was contacted and had a chance to speak with Sandy we had a nice conversation and were able to get the issues I had taken care of. The customer support really impressed me. Thank you Sandy ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
