I’ve had a great experience with this storage facility. The units are clean, secure, and easy to access whenever I need. The staff is friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Prices are fair for the quality and peace of mind you get. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for reliable storage. ... Read more

Rodney Parham My Storage provides the most helpful, responsive, and reasonable services for managing my personal and business needs - Certain belongings matter to us (or we wouldn’t pay for storage) - Joe and his team understand situations and provide the best service and communication to help their customers. ... If I could rate this place -10 I would. Our storage unit was broken into and 10’s of thousands of dollars worth property was stolen and we had zero cooperation from management. Just on the other side of the fence from the property, is not a safe area and other renters informed us that homeless people live on the grounds. Let me add that we have visual evidence of how our property was stolen but access to the unit next to ours was denied even though we found our property coming through the under crack of the wall and saw that the top wall was bent down (showing the path of stolen goods) into the unit next to ours. “State of the art cameras” were not able to capture anything being taken per management, even though multiple LARGE items such as TV’s were taken. You as an individual are not allowed to view/review the cameras, it has to be the police, but once management finds out you know someone in the police force that is willing to come by and review the cameras they will tell you it has to be a detective. When you talk to a detective they will tell you that they don’t have the time. Management won’t tell you if they see anyone taking your stuff because then they are legally responsible. I would also like to point out you will not be allowed to talk to anyone other than the person at the front desk if an issue occurs despite requests to do so. Higher level management will not reach out to you nor will you be provided with their contact info. DO NOT buy the insurance that the storage facility provides, it is useless. My storage unit was ransacked and all information requested by the insurance company from the storage unit was provided and I still have yet to receive a dollar in compensation even though it’s been over a year since the incident. It has now been passed on to the state department due to the insurance company withholding payment despite being provided police reports of the incident, pictures, documentation and first hand accounts, might I add you cannot call and talk to anyone, it is 100% online and via emails. The last thing I’d like to say is that every person I’ve shared the series of events with from LRPD, professional movers, to personal friends have said unanimously and unprompted that they think “it sounds like an inside job.” Good luck renting here and I hope your property is safer than mine was. Just in case they try to say I’ve been there for years, my property is only there because I left on long term out of state business and couldn’t find another storage place the evening before I left, other than another unit at the same place with a camera pointed at my unit…not that it will help given my track record. ... If I could leave zero stars I would. This is my third time using My storage (Rodney Parham) and will absolutely be my last. Anytime I had an issue and needed help (Whitney) would say she would call me back and never would. I would have to keep calling to get a response. But she would definitely text or call if a payment was late. When I contacted My storage requesting a refund I reached out to My storage and they told me they would call me back, at least two days passed and I did not receive a call back. I called again for Whitney to tell me they could not process my refund. She told me a district manager would reach out to me and that has yet to happen. I even sent an email and received no response. I have recommended family and friends to use this business and I no longer recommend this business, especially if you need to get in contact with someone Edit to add: it's very unprofessional my storage can respond to a google review but not a call or an email. I also contacted on the 2nd because you cannot reach anyone on the weekends nor a holiday. So how would I be able to get in touch any sooner? Very unprofessional ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that MyStorage - 9305 North Rodney Parham Road has to offer. These amenities include Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking and Online Payment. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
