Because of my business, for the last 10 years, I have had to rent multiple storage units in several cities. This is BY FAR the best storage facility that I have done business with. The manager, Don, treats you like royalty. The customer service is impeccable!! The facility is very clean, well lit, easily accessible, in a nice neighborhood and your items are SAFE and SECURE. I moved 25 miles further out, but I still use Apple Valley Storage because it’s so nice to do business with a company that cares about their customers. So I don’t mind the drive at all #FiveStars ... The manager Don is very friendly, and the storage units come in a variety of convenient sizes. The area containing the storage units is secured by a passcoded gate, and each unit is locked with the customer's padlock. I have been renting a unit since 2001, and my wife and I are going to be moving into a larger unit and combining our "stuff" in one place. I strongly recommend this business. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods.
