I am no stranger to using a self storage. I am however new to the idea of a contactless rental. I was short on time and needed a unit asap so I thought why not try it out. The QR code brought me straight to a website where I was able to find a local storage unit and after only a few minutes I was able to pay and get the gate code sent to me. Turns out the unit that was sold to me already had a lock on it. My fears seemed to have come true and I paid for something I couldn’t use or so I thought. I reached out to customer service and explained my situation. 30 minutes later the local manager James calls me and sets me up with a new unit. It would have been a very different review had I not been given my new storage but seeing as how the issue was solved quickly and I was able to unload throughout the night all of the way through til morning to work around my work schedule as well as to beat the heat, I think a great rating is still in order despite the hiccup in the beginning. ... The management is terrible honestly. This place was bought out in April or May. I submitted a renter’s declaration in May but the insurance was never removed. I was also never told that the declaration I had provided was not the correct version. So in June I realize that I was lied to and the insurance was not taken off. I send a better version and I’m told once again that everything is good to go and I make my July payment. Around July 20th I called to make my August payment which was supposed to be less due to the insurance I had been paying (despite providing the document in May). Well, apparently I was just lied to. Not only did I receive late fees in August but my unit was locked as well. Keep in mind, I specifically asked if the payment I had made (the second payment in July) was for August and to confirm that August was paid. They lied to me again. So when I call in September to make a normal payment, it’s double!! The lack of communication, the lying, I’m honestly over it. I was told several times a manager from the company itself would reach out (Sabra, I think) and she did not. I was also told I’d get help with logging in online (nobody reached out on that), and they never fixed the situation! They just said you’re SOL and I had to pay more money than I should have been charged. I wasn’t even late and they won’t remove the late fees! In reality, they should remove all late fees, remove the insurance back from May, and rectify the situation where I was told my August bill was less and therefore paid the amount I was told to pay. Why would someone lie and say your payment is one amount but in reality charge you less and simply not tell you? Now I’m in a situation where I’m past due, getting fees, being locked out of my unit, all because I made an August payment on time and believed the manager. & no I did not get bills because the manager didn’t update the email like he said he did. I couldn’t get logged in online which is why I had to call to make payments to begin with. I would highly recommend NOT using this storage service. The only help I’ve received is from the call center and they can’t do anything except for leave messages for people. ... Read more

Great service whenever it was Saf-T-Store. Never had any problems. Wasn’t made aware of the ownership change by Blue Sky, my lock on my storage unit got cut off by the new owners and never replaced once I finally figured out on my own that the ownership had changed. Once I found out, I asked that I be made aware of any future ownership changes and the new Owner Jeff, immediately caught an attitude with me and was EXTREMELY rude. That was the one and only experience I had with Blue Sky. Needless to say, I got my stuff out as soon as possible and closed my account. ... Read more

I loved it when Sadie was there. Now it just goes straight to a call center where you can't wait in line on the phone. You have to leave a message and hope they call you back. There is also no one in the office to take a payment during business hours. You have to call the call center. It was so much better with Sadie. Now it's just a mess. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Siloam Springs Self Storage - 1485 East Kenwood Street has to offer. These amenities include Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Online Payment and RV Storage. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Siloam Springs Self Storage - 1485 East Kenwood Street can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 25 to 600 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Siloam Springs Self Storage - 1485 East Kenwood Street come at a variety of prices, starting from $30 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $175 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
