We have been parking our motor home at Park n Shade for 12 years. Extremely happy with the services provided. Steve, on-site manager, has been great and is huge reason we are long-time very satisfied customers. ... Read more

We needed a storage spot for an rv. So I contacted them as one closet to my home was full, the man behind the counter was friendly, helpful and made a rather mundane experience pleasurable. Rates are in line with others, seems secure, staff helpful and friendly. What more could I ask for. ... Read more

Terrible customer service from Stephen. Have been storing my trailer here for over a year now at the same rate and he decides to change the rate with no notice. When asked to see the rate paper work that’s in the front office he refuses and says “it’s not available to the public”. Why would the rates not be made to the public? I’m being charged $80 a month now for a spot I’ve paid $60 for over the last year. Stephen has had multiple conversations with me now that I’ve been yelled at by him due to me asking for reasoning on this situation. Very disappointed in the management. Overall the site is very well maintained and I feel as if my stuff is safe there but as far as customer service it’s by far one of the worst managers I have ever encountered. ... Read more

I've never been treated so badly or been made to feel so unwelcome by a business ever in my lifetime. The front desk clerk wouldn't look up from his phone and clearly felt like I was an intrusion on his time. I needed help getting a reservation and all he wanted to do was harangue me about the paperwork. I kept saying I would get the paperwork but for today all I needed was a reservation and the paperwork would be provided before the start of our contract. You'd expect this kind of attitude out of a kid but this guy was my age. Lousiest customer service ever. But they have plenty of business so I guess they can treat people as badly as they want? I finally gave up in frustration, told him in no uncertain terms how badly he'd treated me, and I left. We'll rent elsewhere. ... Read more

In spite of playing phone tag when originally booking a site for our camper, I was pleasantly surprised by the politeness, professionalism and help we recieved from the managers. I perceive the property to be clean, safe and well kept. In fact, they are currently upgrading, improving and adding more covered sites. Yes, this means a price hike. I believe the increase may be a little steep, but it is a business. They are in it for the money. The Arizona sun is brutal and has taken a toll on our camper already. Therefore, I will gladly pay the increase in order to get the covered space which we were originally looking for. Thank you, Park - N - Shade!!! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Park-n Shade RV-Boat Storage - 140 West Cottonwood Lane has to offer. These amenities include 24 hour access, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Online Payment and RV Storage. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Park-n Shade RV-Boat Storage - 140 West Cottonwood Lane can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 200 to 780 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Park-n Shade RV-Boat Storage - 140 West Cottonwood Lane come at a variety of prices, starting from $62 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $164 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
