Upon looking at the older reviews I was a little worried before getting a locker to store my business's inventory here, however the new Manager Cat is very helpful, friendly and courteous. The new maintenance man is always prompt to open the building door and seems to keep a eye on everything. I would definitely recommend storing here as the prices are the best I've found. ... Lady working at this location is incredibly rude, arrogant, and not helpful. Ask her a simple question and she’ll respond to you in a way that an agitated parent responds to their child’s question that has an obvious answer. She’s also rude towards carriers who service the area, offering no help when it was necessary to complete their job thoroughly. ... Read more

I wouldn’t recommend this storage place to anyone. I was inquiring about a certain size storage unit and the old gray hair lady that apparently lives there was extremely rude and unprofessional. She definitely has some anger issues and to be honest I wouldn’t feel safe leave my stuff at a place like this. I will take my business else where. ... Read more

I'm a homeowner in the neighborhood where this storage is located. I am a professional businesswoman in the construction industry. I rented a 10x10 storage for the belongings I do not have room for. When my husband and I rented the unit, the lady at the front desk was a sweetheart. I rented for 14 months, and payment was on time with no issue until my husband noticed debris and mice coming into the unit about six weeks ago. Obviously, the mice had been crawling over our things, but outside debris was also getting into the unit. Please let me know if I am wrong, but the reason people rent a storage unit is to keep belongings dry, debris, and mice-free. Debris & mice were getting in because the rubber seal would not closed properly and needed to be repaired. This is a super easy fix. You can buy the adhesive side rubber seal at any Home Depot or Lowe's for a minimum $40.00 fix. I pay $110.000 a month. So, this should not be an issue, and I was willing to buy the material and do the repair. When I called the office to speak to the lady I had talked to for over a year, she began to yell at me when I brought up the issue. She said that she was doing everything she could. She offered me the corporate number multiple times and said I could not do the repair and that she didn't know when it would be repaired. She said she couldn't get an answer from her bosses that she keeps the place clean the mice are the homeless and AMPM. She was rude and said all the tenants were moving out for the same reason. I should have purchased the insurance's I was not expecting her to fix it but I did not see the issue with a temporary fix. went that day and bought a Tuff Shed for half the monthly payment cost, the same size in my backyard. Thank you. Kindness goes a long way no matter what the issues is. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Load-N-Lock Storage - 3600 Blackfoot Way has to offer. These amenities include Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate and Credit Cards Accepted. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
