Read some helpful reviews of 17th Street Self-Storage, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

I have rented storage space at this location since 2013, for 8 years. Prior to that, I rented at 4 other locations in town and was disappointed with each. This storage facility is the best you will find. Bruce Bear is an honest, ethical manager and extremely professional to work with. He can be trusted at his word and is dependable. The storage facility is safe, well run, and as a result, there is usually a waiting list to get in. This facility is worth the wait. It has an excellent location, plenty of parking, and easy 24 hour in and out access. No other storage facility in Costa Mesa even comes close to the value provided here due to the excellent manager and security/accessibility of the units. ... Read more

In 1997 I started a book-publishing business out of my garage, renting one small unit here for the back-inventory. As my business grew, I rented ever larger spaces. It all worked out. Last year I sold my business to a good buyer. I know the storage facility to be clean, well-maintained, and safe. And the other tenants are friendly . ... Read more

I have had several storage units in the CM & NB area over the 40 + years I have lived here. This is the #1 storage facility bar none! The gentleman in charge Bruce & his fantastic team are fair, kind, helpful & really care about their customers! Extremely well run, spotlessly clean, safe, well lit, clean bathroom, provides a couple of ?? trash cans for regular small trash unlike other storage facilities who either don't provide ANY place to put ANY trash or make you pay if you do! Their is no riff raff here or scary people hanging around! You cannot find a better place with better people period & that is why the wait list is so long! Get on it now to get in! You will not be disappointed! ... Read more

The best storage facility. It is secure, clean, and accessible 24 hours a day, and they constantly maintain it. Been there for years and the management has always been great and responsive. Current manager, Bruce, knows his clients and is big on providing the best customer service possible. Its obvious that the ownership cares about their property. ... Read more

The facility is located close to many stores we frequent ( Trader Joes, Michaels, Grand Prix,Petco etc ) so we aren't taken way off the beaten path when we need to pick up or drop off. Bruce has been great working with us over the years as our space requirements have had the inevitable ebbs and flows. Clean and safe with 24 hour access. ... Read more
