Last Update 8/25/25: The Locks were promptly removed. I finished moving my belongings out today. The reason I changed the Stars Rating, from 1 to 3 is because I noticed this Public Storage facility always appear to be very clean. (Original post) I went to Huntington Park UPS and paid my Bill. I tried to move out after paying the Bill. There were two strange Locks on my Storage unit. The man behind the desk pretended not to know why the strange locks were on the Storage unit. He made a disrespectful statement to me in referring to Ageism, and being Me being "Forgetful." He said "maybe you forgot and put the 2 locks on there and forgot. Like you forgot the Key. " ... I had to Remove the positive Review I initially gave and replaced it with the recent HORRIBLE Experience when I went and paid my bill and attempted to move out the storage unit! It's a good thing I had My grandson(s) with Me each time! I went to Huntington Park UPS and paid my Bill. " That was so disrespectful and poor customer service. He claimed he sent an email to a manager so the Locks can be cut off. I have used this storage too long and I am definitely will never use it again! I seriously wish I didn't have to give any Star at all, because outside would put a Zero!!! Here are photos of the locks someone in your place of Employment put on my Storage Unit!!!? ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Public Storage - 6911 South Alameda Street has to offer. These amenities include Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Public Storage - 6911 South Alameda Street can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 20 to 200 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Public Storage - 6911 South Alameda Street come at a variety of prices, starting from $24 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $422 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
