I typically avoid leaving negative reviews, but my experience with Joiner Parkway Self Storage was extremely disappointing at every level. I initially signed up for a storage unit online, but the process was very difficult. Each time I submitted the required information, parts of it were not received despite multiple attempts. Understanding that technical issues happen, I contacted customer support for assistance. Unfortunately, customer service was lacking, and it took nearly a week to get my account properly set up. Once my account was established, the gate access code I received did not work. I repeatedly called the office to speak with someone, but no one ever answered during posted business hours. The office voicemail listed Michael as the office manager, and I left several messages requesting a return call, but I never heard back. About a week later, I received a call from the assistant manager, who corrected the gate code and allowed me access. That same evening, around 6:00 p.m., I went to the unit to move items in. When I attempted to exit the facility, the gate would not open, effectively locking me inside. I went to the nearby apartment to notify someone. After ringing the doorbell, a woman opened an upstairs window and aggressively yelled, “Who? What do you want?” I explained that I was locked in the facility. She eventually opened the gate. When I contacted the office the next day and spoke with the assistant manager, I was told that the woman who yelled at me was the office manager’s wife. This experience occurred while I was starting a new job and trying to get settled, which made the situation even more stressful. Overall, my experience with Joiner Parkway Self Storage was very unfortunate, and based on what I encountered, I would strongly recommend looking at other storage facilities. ... Read more

Clean and easily accessible storage. Make sure their schedule works for you because they are not 24 hours but that’s not a bad thing since it means the units are secured. It’s right next to a fire station which is great reduction of risk of fires. I won’t mark them down for this because I’m sure they’ll fix this issue: I couldn’t get them on the phone or get a call back after leaving a voicemail. And maybe it was their email service but they didn’t respond to email well either. The best way to talk to someone is to go in the office during business hours. ... Read more

I had an excellent experience with Scott when securing my storage unit over the phone. From the start, he was professional, patient, and incredibly helpful. He walked me through the entire process step by step, answered all of my questions clearly, and made sure I felt confident about my decision. What stood out most was how smoothly everything went—Scott handled all the details efficiently and saved me a lot of time and stress. It’s rare to get this level of customer service, and I truly appreciate the effort he put in to make things easy. Highly recommend working with Scott if you need storage—he’ll take great care of you! ... Read more

Storage unit and management were good. But you can't keep raising prices every 6 months. When I initially got the unit the rent was $180. Withing a few years it was up to $320. My salary didn't increase by 40%. But your rent did. ... Read more

Be careful when renting their moving van. Although they rent by the day, its only until the end of the day, not a 24 period like UHaul. I was charged 3 days despite only having it overnight and it wasn't disclosed. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Joiner Parkway Self Storage - 108 Joiner Pkwy has to offer. These amenities include Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Truck Rentals, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access and Online Payment. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Joiner Parkway Self Storage - 108 Joiner Pkwy can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 25 to 480 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Joiner Parkway Self Storage - 108 Joiner Pkwy come at a variety of prices, starting from $52 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $574 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
