Read some helpful reviews of Public Storage at 11802 West Washington Blvd, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

I needed a space, called ahead, toured what was available, and completed a pay link by the end of day with Eddie. He was helpful through every question as I tried to understand the height restrictions in these older buildings. It’s not the prettiest space, but it’s cheap, there is easy enough access with the elevator, and the office team is human. Thanks Eddie! ... Read more

I rarely write reviews but my experience here has been so consistently poor over the past year or so, that I feel like I have to. The main issue is the archaic elevator that has an inner gate that must be shut to be operational. I cannot tell you how many times I’ve pulled up to get something from my storage unit only to be unable to access it because someone, somewhere has left the interior gate open. I’ve tried the stairs too but the floors are locked from the outside. Even the key pad is broken. I’m literally sitting in the parking lot right now, just waiting for the elevator. I can see it on the first floor but can’t call it because the key pad doesn’t work. The unit itself has the weird step configuration that others have mentioned, so there’s not really the true usable space that a 10x5 would normally have. If you need a reliable, spacious unit save your time and money and look elsewhere. Seriously! It sucks here, I hate it, and I’m planning on moving my extra things to another facility in the immediate future. ... Read more

I've had a unit here for several years & have had some unpleasant experiences, but things happen. One bright spot is an employee named Ulysses. He was extremely kind, courteous and helpful when I had an unfortunate situation come up. Ulysses S.Grant took care of business & so did Ulysses from Public storage. He's doing a great job & very much appreciated ?? ... Read more

I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but this has been a terrible experience so far. I reserved a storage unit (starting today), but when I arrived at 2PM, no one was there to let me in for the first time. I tried calling the number on the door which sent me to the generic voice message system and I was on hold for 20 minutes so I left and remained on hold another hour without ever reaching anyone. I emailed requesting access or a refund and have heard nothing. Yikes! Also—There were two other customers inside the gate freaking out because apparently the elevator was broken and one guy’s items were “locked in the hallway” without him. I’m very hopeful this review gets someone to connect with me ASAP. ... Read more

I have been here since 2014 and have been broken into -- twice --- they increase my rent like every 6 months and I had to move 3 times due to the breakins. Its pointless to pay their insurance becuase it doesn't help at all. I made a police report and still its difficult to get any sort of resolution after they break in. Their security system its not secure --- and it can happen to anyone in broad daylight. At this point, I am moving out and finding another place that is safer and has better operations to its building --- yeah-- the elevator is always broken too. (frankly, I stayed for proximility --- but now my rent is about $500 -- ridiculous) -- don't even bother renting here! ... Read more

Went during normal business hours and the elevator was stuck on one of the upper floors. Usually this means someone is upstairs and forgot to close the elevator gate. Waited for an hour and no one came down. Asked the guy at the front desk if he could help, but he said he didn’t have the key to get in and bring the elevator down. What kind of property manager doesn’t have the keys to their property? Also the units are dirty and falling apart. Do not rent here. Run for the hills. ... Read more

I’m only giving five stars for the service, like Dulce was answering all of my questions about where my unit was, the pricing and even explaining in detail (which I love) about my rent and what should be expected. She was super insightful and very patient with me!! ... Read more

This was the worst storage I've ever seen, the elevator was out of service, the property manager did not pick up the phone, the space was dirty, felt really sketchy, and obviously not as advertised with these shelves, so the 5x8 was nothing like expected and paid for. When we tried to return the lock the doors wouldn't open so we literally got locked out of the space and luckily we hadn't put anything in there. Luckily we found a space last minute at Pico Blvd which was amazing, clean, safe, spacious (actually having space from floor to ceiling and it was staffed). ... Read more

Five stars, but only for the service. This is the strangest storage space building I’ve ever seen. The floors are split level, so many of them still require you to go up a short but narrow flight of stairs to access the unit. There was no way that was going to work for me, but thankfully Maritza in the office was amazing and was able to get me a slightly larger unit closer to the elevator and without having to go up the stairs for the same price. Thank you Maritza! ... Read more

Weirdest layout of storage units I have ever seen. Staff was helpful when we arrived to move into our unit and realized because of the unit not being a box, we were not going to fit. Bigger unit (more money) and still a weird layout. One building only has stairs and avoid it if you have more than boxes to store. Other building has an elevator, but you must make sure the gate and door is closed or others can get the elevator back to the ground floor. It is a common problem at this location and a real pain when you are stuck on the 3rd floor. Building is kept clean but the hallways have many turns and maneuvering their carts sucks. Oh and some units are still up stairs in the elevator building or need a move able ladder to access. Go look at units before you rent ... Read more

These amenities include Indoor, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Public Storage - 11802 West Washington Blvd can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 20 to 144 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Public Storage - 11802 West Washington Blvd come at a variety of prices, starting from $107 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $571 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
