Read some helpful reviews of Public Storage at 4174 West Pico Blvd, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

We had a very disappointing and suspicious experience at this Public Storage location. We won an auction unit yesterday and when we arrived to pick it up, we discovered that about half of the items were missing. The seal on the unit was still intact, which makes the situation even more concerning. If the seal was untouched, how did so many items disappear? When we raised our concerns, the manager called a supervisor, but nothing was resolved. We were simply told they don’t know how this could have happened. No explanation, no accountability, and no refund. This is completely unacceptable. We paid for a unit based on what was shown, and what we received was not what was advertised. Buyers should be very careful when participating in auctions at this facility. ... Read more

Great prices compared to others around the area. The place is clean which is nice, things are secured, and the customer service was fantastic, Noemi helped me out and she was the best, made everything quick and easy, the other places I called gave me attitude over the phone, this was for sure the right place for me. ... I've been a Public Storage customer for years and at multiple different facilities. This particular one I'm at now is very nice and huge as in, has a lot of units and is in a huge well air conditioned building. The only pics I have currently are of my unit itself and the lock required to lock my unit up with. As you can see I obviously rented a unit much too big for what I am storing. One very cool thing that this storage unit offered is $1 down (which pays for the first month.) ... Read more

These amenities include Indoor, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Public Storage - 4174 West Pico Blvd can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 20 to 150 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Public Storage - 4174 West Pico Blvd come at a variety of prices, starting from $81 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $465 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
