Read some helpful reviews of Orangeburg Mini Storage at 3937 East Orangeburg Avenue, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

I never thought that I would be commenting on a storage unit facility. But in this day and time we should take the time to compliment people that go above and beyond the norm. Orangeburg is run by Alyssa who is very professional very courteous and takes a lot of pride in what she does. Alyssa and the company that she works for, maintains a very clean very professional facility that you can be proud to bring your clients to to view collectibles and such. Security is great, access is very good and maintenance is outstanding. I laugh at myself for doing this but it is just. Orangeburg I appreciate being treated professionally as your client. Keep up the good work. Joe ... Read more

Would give them zero but not an option. We survived the fire they had there but unfortunately when went to go move stuff this weekend we found our unit was infested with mice. They pissed and pooped everywhere. When I went into office to talk to Mary and asked if she had anything that we could clean some salvageable stuff off she offered me gloves only. When I told her about the mess she said "well you have insurance" . Yes, I have insurance but I am not putting it in to mine. Oh the kicker they try their best about the rodents. But our unit had a hole in the sheetrock and she knew about it a long time ago. Now there are now two so they are going in units on at least each side of ours. I asked for corporate and she was like there really isn't anything they will do. She finally gave my husband the number. Well I came on here to look at reviews and low and behold I found this review. David Cline 3 reviews a year ago- The one star for Orangeburg Storage was for the convenience. I was broken into once costing me several $, I have been locked out on a weekend due to key pad issues and they have had a rodent issue for some time causing damage to stored articles. I would guess they have several problems because they require tenants to carry tenant insurance at an added cost. I have moved out. Like ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Orangeburg Mini Storage - 3937 East Orangeburg Avenue has to offer. These amenities include Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Kiosk Available, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access and Online Payment. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Orangeburg Mini Storage - 3937 East Orangeburg Avenue can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 25 to 220 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Orangeburg Mini Storage - 3937 East Orangeburg Avenue come at a variety of prices, starting from $50 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $250 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
