Read some helpful reviews of Public Storage at 3300 Northgate Blvd, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

I want to take a moment to recognize the outstanding service provided by Mrs. Coco Channel at Public Storage. In today’s world, it’s rare to come across someone who truly cares about their work and the people they help, but Mrs. Channel is one of those rare individuals. From the very beginning, she has always been on point with her responsibilities. She runs the facility with professionalism, organization, and a level of dedication that you don’t often see anymore. No matter how busy things get, she always manages to find the time to help customers and make sure their concerns are handled properly. I personally experienced her dedication when my storage unit was broken into. That situation was stressful and overwhelming, but Mrs. Channel stepped in and helped guide me through the entire process. She was patient, understanding, and incredibly supportive during a time when I really needed someone to help point me in the right direction. Instead of treating it like just another part of the job, she genuinely cared and made sure I understood what steps to take and what resources were available. What stood out to me the most was her attitude and work ethic. She stayed professional, calm, and focused while still showing real compassion. It’s clear she takes pride in her work and truly values the customers she serves. To be completely honest, Public Storage would be hard-pressed to find someone who works harder or represents their company better than Mrs. Coco Channel. Employees like her are the reason customers continue to trust and return to a business. If you’re storing your belongings at this location, you can have peace of mind knowing that someone like Mrs. Channel is there making sure things are handled the right way. She sets the standard for what excellent customer service should look like. Thank you, Mrs. Coco Channel, for your dedication, professionalism, and for going above and beyond when it mattered most. ... Read more

Honesty Is the Best Policy I moved out of my storage unit on Saturday, January 31st. Prior to my move-out, I received a text message from Public Storage at 4:19 PM regarding my access code—something I never requested. This immediately made me nervous, as I was concerned that someone may have accessed or attempted to access my account without my authorization. I arrived at the location around 5:00 PM and made several trips to remove all of my belongings from the unit. Before leaving, I attempted to call the office to speak with someone about next steps, as I was unsure what to do with the lock I had placed on the unit. I was concerned that if I left the unit unlocked and someone accessed it or caused damage, I could be held liable. I did not know that I was required to remove the lock or that I was even allowed to take it with me. I used the Public Storage app to schedule my move-out, and at no point did the app indicate that failing to remove the lock would result in a charge. I called the office, left a voicemail, and never received a return call. An email was later sent to me explaining that the lock needed to be removed; however, it went to my spam folder, and I did not see it until Sunday morning. On Sunday, February 1st, I returned to the location to remove the lock. When I arrived, the gate was already open and appeared to have been left open intentionally, allowing unrestricted access. Despite this, I still used the app to open the gate because I wanted to ensure I followed proper procedures and would not be held liable if the gate closed unexpectedly while I was entering. I acted in good faith and used the app even though the gate was already open. I removed my lock and left the facility. The gate remained open, which led me to believe there may have been an issue with the gate system. This may also explain why I received an access code notification that I never requested. Later that same Sunday, I received a notification stating I owed an unpaid balance of $51 for overstaying, which I strongly disagree with. I did not overstay. I made multiple attempts—both through the app and by phone—to seek clarification and was never informed that removing the lock was required to avoid additional charges. When I contacted customer service, the supervisor, Judy, refused to be understanding or offer any assistance. Given the circumstances, I do not believe Public Storage was entitled to charge me $51 simply because I accessed an already-open gate to remove my lock. Due to this experience, I will not use Public Storage again, and I will share my experience with others. ... Read more

Unprofessional , lack of communication , poor customer service. I have a unit here I called yesterday to make arrangements to go in today to pay my bill . the property manager told me to come in at 9:30am I go to this location at 9:30 am to make a payment and they were closed. There’s no hours of operation on the door . I ended up leaving going to a different location only to find out they were closed too and guess what their hours or operation are not posted . I called a few locations after that and you can’t get anyone on the phone at neither location . I waited around 1:30 to return to this particular location only for the lady to tell me they don’t even take cash what a waste of my day and time if you guys would answer the phone your tenants like myself would know this information. I will be reporting you guys to corporate and BBB for lack of communication, lack of customer service And lack of professionalism do better! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Public Storage - 3300 Northgate Blvd has to offer. These amenities include Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access and Online Payment. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Public Storage - 3300 Northgate Blvd can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 25 to 300 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Public Storage - 3300 Northgate Blvd come at a variety of prices, starting from $60 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $381 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
