Read some helpful reviews of Rocket Self Storage, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

They say 24hr access but are quick to restrict your hours. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a storage facility. The metal containers are like hot ovens in the summer and if they don't like your appearance it won't be long before you are asked to leave. ... Read more

THIS IS FOR THE REPRESENTATIVE/EMPLOYEE OVER THE PHONE! NOT THE STORAGE ITSELF! The help I received from John over the phone at this 70th location was absolutely a blessing. He was genuinely concerned with the issues I was experiencing. He made it a point to assure me he was here to help and was doing all he could. After about 40 minutes on the phone dealing with me he was able to help me with my problem and I and truly grateful. ... Read more

After being there 2 months, they play really loud obnoxious music 24/7 and the "temperature controlled" units are always extremely hot. There are only 2 parking spots so you better hope there aren't already 2 people there and the neighborhood is a really bad neighborhood. I gave 3 stars bc their customer service has always been good and its clean. If I didnt need a 24hour access I would go somewhere else though. ... Read more

Very small storage. There are not a lot of places to park to unload. Literally 2 parking spaces, 1 regular space and 1 handicapped space. Little street parking, though. Have to say it was very clean and easy to put code in. There are bigger spaces outside and smaller spaces inside a building. Have to say that if you are on the 2nd floor it gets VERY hot and no A/C so you feel like your in a sauna and you cannot stay too long. No elevator if you are on 2nd floor. Spaces are really small. But it is open 24/7 so if you need to get in at anytime it works. Pricey for the small size - $135 a month. Pics are of the small sizes in the building. ... Read more

Love the 24 hours feature, prices are fair and customer service is excellent. Minus a few of the weirdos that show up every so often after hours it’s safe but they have no control over that but when they catch on they handle the situation quickly and professionally. Best storage facility around town in my opinion. State of the art locking system and security. ... Read more

I was going to go to get a different storage unit somewhere else farther away from where I live because it was $10 cheaper than rocket storage but the great customer service that Rose, a worker for rocket storage provided made me get the extra $10 I needed to rent here. Thanks so much Rose! ... Read more

This place is an absolute joke for several reasons. I am paying well over $200 for a unit smaller than a closet. The biggest problem factor is the fact that the facility has no actual support and the phone number literally sends you to a call center who can’t help. My unit which I have paid on time every month won’t open because the “door boss” locking system is either dead or broken. I have valuable equipment inside that I need to access today or I lose over a grand for my business. Do not rent here at any cost! You may be stuck paying hundreds of dollars for no support and no access to your actual storage…. ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
