I'm getting so sick of these companies screwing over consumers. After a short promotion period for storing my camper van, my monthly charge went from $93 a month to $164! Nearly double. They lost me as a customer, so in order to make an extra $60 a month, they lost $100, just for being greedy. A warning to anyone considering dealing with Extra Space Storage, be prepared for large monthly increases. ... Read more

Overall moving in process was very smooth and efficient. Facilities are kept clean and taken care of, we had both a climate controlled unit as well as a drive-up unit at one point. Only issue was the constant price increases that doubled the cost of our rental. If you set up your rental online, it’s very likely that the price will double within only a few months. Great units, just be aware of how pricey they can get. ... Read more

The manager here is unprofessional and will give out your information to people that are not on or listed as an alternate contact on the unit. I knew this was going to be a bad experience from the first day I went to this property. Let me just put this out there that I worked in the storge industry for 5 years so I know the privacy policies that are in place and should be abided by. One of my family members that was out of state needed me to take over the space since I was local, so I went in to get information , request to get the lock cut and he let me change the gate code all without asking for an ID or even my name before the documents were transferred in my name. After I got the unit into my name, another local family member went into the office and the manager onsite gave him all the information that he asked for including the new name on the unit (mine) and who the alternate contact was. This information given has caused serious harassment from this local family member and untrust from me to the storage facility. I would not recommend storing here unless you want your information given out to non storage lease holders. Just Beware! ... Read more

Buyer beware, started out with $100/ month unit, 3 months later they upped it to $200 without informing me at the beginning that they would do so. Manager Daniel said he’ll find a way to help me with that price if I leave a positive review, left a good review and a month later when I asked about price he said he can’t do anything. Just be aware when renting her and don’t trust anything they say unless it’s in writing ... Read more

Avoid at all costs. We rented this storage unit temporarily while searching for a permanent home, expecting to return to our belongings with maybe just a bit of dust to clean off. What we found instead was an absolute nightmare. When we came back with a U-Haul to retrieve our things, we discovered that mice had infested our unit. (To be clear, we did not store any food or items that would typically attract rodents.) The mice had gotten into everything — they chewed through our couch, kitchen chairs, and office chairs. They left droppings and urine on our clothes, sentimental keepsakes like wedding albums and yearbooks, and even chewed through wires, ruining our electronics. When we reported this to the storage facility, their response was shockingly dismissive. No apology, no accountability. They simply claimed it must have been due to food in another unit nearby. To make matters worse, the very next month, they added an upcharge to our unit. We had to push just to get the original rate reinstated. They later admitted this was a common issue due to field mice getting into the units — yet when we moved in, no precautions (like traps or preventative measures) were in place. Only after we raised the issue did they begin to install traps. We had to practically beg them to call an exterminator — something you'd expect to be routine if they knew this was a recurring problem. We requested compensation for the damage, and they passed us off to their insurance partner, ESIS. It took months just to process the claim. Initially, we underestimated the damage out of fear of contamination — we didn’t want to go through everything. But once we did, it became clear that almost everything had been destroyed. We ended up throwing everything away and hiring a junk removal company (shoutout to Jolly Junk Removal for saving the day). We resubmitted the claim, but it's still pending and ESIS has been unhelpful. Our advice: choose an indoor unit elsewhere. If you must use this location, do not store anything valuable, sentimental, or sensitive like furniture, electronics, or clothing. You may never see it again in usable condition. ... Read more

I’ve been out my storage for almost 2 years and they’ve been great to me. Anytime I need any help. They go out of their way to help. For instance, I needed to jump. I was stuck in the back of my storage. They came right away and got me going one time I lost the key to my lock. They came right away cut it off and they were Locks on the premises to buy so that I didn’t have to go buy another lock. Everyone has always been nice and And understanding and I do recommend them very affordable and I just want to thank you guys for your services ... Read more

I have been with this company for months but it was not until recently that I was really satisfied. Meredith initially put me up on the 3 rd floor next to the heating system and I thought I was going to pass out a few times. It was so difficult to downsize in that heat. Eventually I went to the second floor and as I was moving in I noticed it was pretty dark inside my unit. Then I noticed a light was out in the hall next to my unit. It took months to replace. I downsized to a slightly smaller unit around the corner but the door stayed up the first time I used it but only stopped half way down thereafter so I kept hitting my head. This is when I met Kayla. She was wonderful. She tried to hire someone to no avail, kept in touch with me, and got her toolbox and tried to fix it herself. It needed more work than she could do so she put me in another unit very close by and it’s perfect. She was the assistant manager then. Happy you made her the manager, she deserved the promotion. She is friendly, very attentive to customer needs and every time I see her she is cleaning, which I really appreciate. ... Read more

I recently inquired about a storage unit at this location and was extremely satisfied with how knowledgeable and helpful Alan was. All of my questions were answered in full, I didn’t have to wait long either, and the process was smooth from start to finish. While there, Anthony and Alan were attentive to other guests and ensured everyone was acknowledged and getting helped. Even when I had to call, they were super nice. I highly recommend this location to anybody looking for a solution for their extra storage needs. In day and age of quality customer service being scarce, this place really goes above and beyond to care for their clients. ... Read more

Only here for two months before deciding to move out and finding another unit. Units are cheap but you pay for what you get. Mine had several Light and Water leaks. The entrance at the front gate is very difficult to get in and out of particularly with a truck and trailer or box truck. There are dozens of half speed bumps all throughout the facility which makes it very hard on my loads coming in and out. I also tried going to the office during office hours on two separate occasions and it was locked with no one available to help. I moved into another Extra Space storage facility close by, which I am very happy with. This particular location I was not impressed with. ... Read more
