Read some helpful reviews of 10 Federal Storage, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

I have been renting from this storage facility for two years. Recently, 10 federal storage took over and they immediately started charging extra fees and insurance. I had a manager assist me with my concerns in November and now I am back to earn other consumers about the business practices here. I recently received an email that they will be raising rates by a 20% increase. I sent multiple emails asking for a manager to call me back and finally broke down to call them and the “manager” was unhelpful and didn’t understand or try to understand my concerns. Unfortunately I am out of state so I can’t move out of the storage facility but I can warn others about moving in here. I promise you will regret it. I have experienced rates being raised and fees being added over the past few months and now I am stuck paying exorbitant rates and who knows when these fee increases will ever stop? Please stay away from 10 federal storage. Update: after I received a response from the company asking me to call them, I did call them. On my first try, they told me that a manager would review my request for a rate change and I never received a reply. On my second try, I stayed on hold for 33 minutes before finally giving up. If the company would like to reach out to come up with a solution to my concerns with the constant rate changes, I would be happy if they would call me. Note that I did have another rate change since my review 7 months ago and I am now paying double what I was one year ago. And apparently I am not getting any better service from the company since I waited on hold for a very long time today. ... Read more

Easy sign-up but struggled with complete information being provided on the initial welcome email. Sat on hold for 45 minutes to speak with an agent to request the gate code that was not provided in the initial email. Eventually called another number and spoke with a man named Chris who was a pleasure to deal with and handle the situation with ease. ... Read more

I just recently moved out. I moved in when it was Hill & Homes back when my 5x10 storage unit cost me only $60 a month 3 years ago.. They sold the company without informing anybody, I'm not sure what that company's name was. And then that company sold it again to these people again without informing anyone. Over the course of 8 months my rent got raised three separate times. This last time when I finally decided to move out they wanted to start charging me $164 and some change for like I said a 5 x10 storage unit. Absolutely ridiculous! Do not rent from them! It's not worth it!! Oh and to mention all of my belongings have been infested with mice. Thank you so much for nothing.! ... Read more

They will incorrectly bill you and then auction off your unit instead of fixing the bill. They charge me $220 a month for a 10x20 unit even though their website says it's only $114 a month. Do not do business with these crooked people. These heartless individuals would rather make $80 at an auction and then $1,500 by making a payment arrangement with me. They refused to take partial payment. They would rather auction off my baby stuff that I've been saving from my late grandfather then to work with somebody. I hope they are happy with that little $80. All of our priceless memories will probably be thrown in the trash by the auction winner. ... Read more
