Read some helpful reviews of Stor-Rite RV-Boat Storage, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

I rented a spot there for a few years. When I need to up grade to a bigger spot, the process was easy. If I had questions they were answered in a reasonable time. For me it was a convenient place to park a trailer. I would be staying longer, but my job is moving me out of state. Thanks ... Read more

We just got a unit here for our boat and this location is clearly not maintained. We went to the location and was told we have to have updated reg and insurance, the boat has to fit in the space with nothing hanging out, etc. Which I agree with, but once you get on the property, what a mess! There is vehicles that haven't seen the light of day in years "stored" here. Half the boats/RV's have expired plates, flat tires and the trash everywhere is gross. If you are going to make everyone sign the dotted line, then everyone needs to follow the rules. ... Read more

This is a great facility! I just moved my boat out, but I was always happy with this facility. The fees were very reasonable for all if the years I rented a space there. Stor-Rite was always straightforward and ethical about their pricing, and I respect and appreciate that. The only suggestion I have is that it would be nice to have an air compressor on the property, because tires that that sit for seasons at a time usually need to be topped-up before they are ready (and safe) to be used. (Though, there is a gas station ~1/4 mile down the road that has a compressor with enough surrounding space to use with a trailer/RV/boat/etc..) I'd also like to thank the people who were very helpful when an issue arose! Tom was all-around great in getting me set up, and his partner (sorry, I forgot her name), was wonderful and patient when an issue arose with my auto-payment account and I had to get it sorted. Lastly, I want to single out Lorie for quickly and kindly helping me terminate my lease when I was confused and working in circles trying to figure it out. Thank you all!! ... Read more

Just received a rent increase notice from Lanette Glover of Stor-Rite. Even though cumulative inflation over the past 4 years has been been just 6.1%, Stor-Rite thinks a 25% year-over-year rent increase is reasonable though they have done virtually nothing to improve the storage lot. REASONABLE OR SIMPLY WHAT YOU CAN GET AWAY WITH? The cumulative Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) over the last 4 years for Social Security recipients has been a whopping $4/month ($48 per year). Is price gouging REALLY necessary Lanette? REALLY? ... Read more

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
