Amie was wonderful and was so helpful during the process of picking out a rental unit! She was very patient and let us come back the next day so we could measure all our furniture and be sure the unit would work for us! ... Read more

I can't stress highly enough the fact that if you rent here for longer than 6 months, your monthly payment will double. If you rent for longer than a year, it will triple. I rented my 10x10 for $75/mo, and am now paying $245/mo. Long story short, if you are renting for 6 months or less, go for it. If you're looking to store for longer, RUN. ALSO - my whole unit, and everything in it, is covered in mouse feces. The insurance you pay for monthly will give you a $250 payment if you submit mountains of paperwork. ... Read more

I’ve seen many great reviews about this location, but unfortunately, my encounter with Aime today completely turned me off. As a result, I’ve decided to take my business elsewhere. I’ll admit—I lost my cool on the phone, and I apologize for that. However, the lack of empathy I received regarding my units mold situation was incredibly frustrating. I just returned from deployment, only to find mice droppings and mold on my baby’s toys, car seat, and other belongings. I followed the proper procedures and filed a claim with the insurance company, and today, I was simply trying to follow up and ask about switching units. We had only briefly interacted over the phone to schedule an inspection of the unit, so I was surprised by how cold and dismissive her attitude was—both on the phone and in person. I wasn’t asking for anything unreasonable—just a bit of understanding for what I was dealing with. Everyone has rough days, and I get that. But I felt like I was being brushed off and treated like an inconvenience, when all I wanted was a professional conversation and a chance to be heard. Thank you for housing my belongings over the past 10 months, but I won’t be continuing my service here. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t feel comfortable recommending this location to anyone ... Joe in East Hartford helped my husband find a space here. When my husband got to Enfield Victor was expecting him. Victor showed him where the space was and went over how to get in and out. He even went above and beyond helping make sure ice that was around was covered with salt and we were comfortable and safe. My husband was very impressed with the service! ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Public Storage - 115-D Elm Street has to offer. These amenities include Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, First Floor Access, Online Payment and RV Storage. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Public Storage - 115-D Elm Street can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 25 to 300 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Public Storage - 115-D Elm Street come at a variety of prices, starting from $25 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $246 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
