Irma, an office worker, helped us rent a unit in Public Storage Stamford CT. It was a surprisingly pleasant experience. Firstly, Irma was very professional and quickly helped us overcome all the technical difficulties of the registration process. Secondly, she is a very pleasant and responsive person, always smiling, and it was a pleasure to work with her. Ultimately, the registration process took minimal time, and we were left with a positive impression of the company, especially Irma. ... Read more

Had a very horrible experience with this people. First they set up direct deposit without my consent choose a date for me , added insurance without my consent and to make matters worst created an email account for me that I don’t even have access to. When I finally decided to move my property from them they quickly took out went to my account took out money before before the date I was told that I had to move my stuffs which is the 04/03 The experience with this storage place is zero to nothing. The housing managers lack communication skills the only time they are friendly is when they want to enroll you in after that you are on your own. Be careful on how you give out your info to this people pls ... Read more

I visited a few weeks ago to store my belongings and was super relieved to be treated so kindly. I never had a storage unit before, so I needed extra help understanding the process. Lilian, I believe her name was, made everything so easy. Even when I was confused, she didn't mind explaining things to me in a way that I could understand. Thanks to her , I was able to secure a unit quick. I'd definitely recommend this storage unit to everyone. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Public Storage - 11 Leon Place has to offer. These amenities include Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
