I've had to use 3 different self storage facilities over the last 6 months while waiting for our home to be completed. This facility is the best I've rented from. Prices are fair and Miguel and his staff keep the property clean and well maintained. Security was critical for me because my unit at Extra Space was burglarized and management there just ignored it. Cameras were blocked by RVs. Security at Stronghold is far superior and they work. ... Read more

I have been renting a unit from this facility for the past few months. The office staff are always very helpful as well as friendly whenever I have had any questions. The facility is always very clean and I love it that it is non-smoking! Although you do get those that don’t follow the rules but they are right on top of any rule breakers! I DEFINITELY recommend this facility. It is very easy to pull into and out of in a large moving van which is a plus! ... Read more

I have had a unit there for years. I went to store things to make room in my garage for my car from the hurricane. They have closed, which is fine except they have also kept renters from getting to their units. Really? How can they justify that in any way, shape for form? I huge storm coming, two days out, and people can't get to their units? I have a camp stove, lanterns, water containers, things I was planning to use if power goes out. Am I supposed to go out and buy them now? Could I even find them at this point? I was good until they made a choice that had no regard for their clients All they had to do is leave the gate access. Unbelievable! We are out of there..... ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods.
