Just need to let this company know that the girl named Candice, that works here, really goes above and beyond what normal employees do. She was extremely helpful and kind, without being pushy or fake. You shook give her a raise and then ask her to train new employees. Thank you, Candice, for restoring my faith in storage and in people. ... Read more

These current Public Storage operators in Fort Pierce are rip off artists and price gougers... My girlfriend who is a honest and hard working single mom has been storing items in a 5x10 unit since 2022. They are the epitome of price gougers having raised prices every six months for an approximate rate increase of 60% for entire years. Factoring inflation well you do the math That's right 20% is ample (All while offering 50% price discounts to new potential customers). They also have the audacity to disallow her the opportunity of contracting a new unit to obtain that very same discount Horrifying Customer Service. The owner/ management holding company while corporate or franchised is unknown but should stop these practices immediately. J Gallo Google Local Guide Level 7 Since 2009 ... Read more

I opened an account with Public Storage in Port St. Lucie today. The lady working the counter was very knowledgeable about the different plans and options. She was pleasant and other customers seem to know her and like her. I was sold on this storage because of her professionalism. She does not regularly work at the PSL location but knew enough about it to impress me. Wish more businesses had workers like Shanna. I got a great deal on a 5x10x8 climate controlled unit. 5 stars to her. Keep up the awesome work Shanna! ?????????? ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
