The worst experience I have ever had with a storage unit in my entire life. When I went to access my storage unit there was already a lock on it that was not mine. They told me they did not put a lock on it and I was not able to access the storage unit that I paid for. I did not put on nor take off any lock. When I called the office, the manager was of absolutely no help, refused to give me a refund even though I was not allowed to even OPEN my own unit that I purchased. When I asked who put a lock on my unit he responded with “I don’t know” (yes that’s correct, “I do not know”) essentially claiming someone else stole my unit. If they removed the lock I would not know because I never even got to access it, I had to go purchase another storage unit at another place because I couldn’t put any of my things inside my own unit that I paid for. Not to mention I went all the way to their office to speak with someone (and their opening times are incorrect and misleading on google saying they are open on weekends when they are not, so I wasted my time going all the way there for none of them to even be there). As a student at UF they made my move out process the most stressful and awful experience of my life, and I do NOT recommend to absolutely anyone. Will never be returning ever again. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.
