We’ve had our unit since 2007. Seen a lot of changes recently that have greatly improved the cleanliness and security of our valuables. On our recent visit we were introduced to Alonzo, the property manager. He was enthusiastic about the new management and all the changes they are implementing to clean and secure the property. He said they installed new cameras, gate and are in the process of painting the exterior. Great to see the new owners taking pride in their investment. ... Read more

4 year Tenant , oh my god , have you seen the CHANGES With NEW MANAGEMENT !! ?? He Actually , picks up the telephone & responds to your message. There is no more clutter at the face of the building or surrounding everywhere you drive ! Beautification really matters to this guy. When you ask a question, he answers you directly & he actually looks you in the eye. (Unlike the former management) I Have witnessed the gate being repaired and cameras being installed. I feel way more secure. What no more homeless sneaking in through the fence?? The fence finally got repaired.! I see fresh paint and repairs & an awesome new sign out front. I see this guy breaking his back & actually managing the business. The owner of this establishment must be very proud. Kudos to the big boss for choosing and making a wise decision in management... SIDE NOTE : When he first got there , I witnessed him care enough To dig through an abandoned unit**Without trashing it** when payment wasn't made for several mos/ yrs. He found the phone number of the owner, not knowing her husband Was in charge of the bill & was now deceased. The widow was so thankful he cared enough to look out & allowed her access to long lost memories That could have been thrown out had he not cared to diligently look unselfishly. Character Ethics Mortals go a long way When the rest of this country is messed up Not caring about the common man. GREAT CHOICE IN MANAGEMENT BIG BOSS ! ... Read more

If you're dirty and unprofessional this is the perfect place for you. Staff is extremely rude and lazy, terrible experience. If I could leave a zero star review I would this place sucks. Unit was ridiculously dirty and the employee said it wasn't his responsibility to clean it. Do NOT use this place if you care about your property or care about being disrespected ... Read more

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS FACILITY!!! YOUR BELONGINGS WILL GET STOLEN! All of mine did. Very personal items I will never be able to replace. THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL MANAGEMENT I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH! The "New" manager, Alonzo is running this business into the ground! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE DUE TO MANAGEMENT & FALSE INFORMATION STATING THEY HAVE CAMERAS TO PROTECT THE FACILITY. I RATE THIS BUSINESS A NEGATIVE 10 I RATE MANAGEMENT A NEGATIVE 20 ... Read more

This place is finally getting better! There is a new property manager who has been really taking care of this place. Hes been cleaning all the mess, installing new locks and even getting security cameras for the whole property. Really awesome guy, had some good conversations with him and he truly cares about the property and is trying to put it all back together. I say it this way because this place was very neglected by the previous managers. It felt like they didn't care, and when you try to get ahold of them they are almost never there and never answer the phone. When we first got the unit (we paid online), we went to the storage and there was a lock on it. We couldn't find the managers and couldn't get ahold of them. It took hard action to be able to get our unit we paid for. But now, every time I come, the new property manager is there and he is very helpful in every way. Thank you so much. It has been really great! ... Read more

Let me start off by stating I stored here for years. Wanted to add a few items to my unit. Get to the unit, lock is gone. I didn’t have a lot of items in the unit but the items were mine. A little upset about it, I go to the front office. Closed in the middle of the day. Call the office, the person that answered stated they have been having a lot of break ins and I should call the police department because there is nothing the facility could do. So on a hunch I go back to the building my unit was in, over half the units were occupied with no locks. I check other buildings, unit after unit occupied with no lock! That afternoon I move out of the unit, call the office and inform them. A month later, the rental fee is taken out of my bank account. I call the office, no answer. I drive to the office, a note stating the office is “closed” indefinitely. I call for a month, no answer. I go to the office, still closed but a new note stating open from 9-12 a few days a week. So I go there during the “open” hours, nope still closed. So I continue to call and go to the office, to no avail! A month goes by, now I get a text, another storage fee will come out! Now I’m livid, I go to the office, closed! Call, no answer! Now, I have to get my bank involved. Now it’s been a few months, another text stating I owe them money! I decide to call from a different number, instead of picking up, they text me stating they would like texts instead of calls! After dealing with this for months, I go to the office and they are open, finally able to resolve this debacle! I can assure of one thing, they do not walk the lot as they claim. No way all those units are unlocked with people’s items still in them! Be careful storing anything in this playground for thieves. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Monument Mini Storage - 12020 McCormick Road has to offer. These amenities include Climate-Controlled, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Online Payment and RV Storage. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Monument Mini Storage - 12020 McCormick Road can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 20 to 300 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Monument Mini Storage - 12020 McCormick Road come at a variety of prices, starting from $25 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $195 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
