This storage unit is a JOKE, I had my unit less than 20 days and it was broken into with a lock cutter. When I initially got the unit, I was not informed that the cameras outside the facility are all FAKE, when I spoke to the manager, she was not only very rude and unprofessional, but had no remorse for my loss of all my daughters pictures. When I asked for a refund being I have only had this unit less than 20 days, she laughed at me and said "I'm sorry ma'am, that's not happening. I highly do not recommend this place to store your belongings, especially if you care about your personal belongings ... Read more

These people claim to be Christians but I feel they are just crooks. I was experiencing difficulties with life due to a very nasty divorce. I was homeless and my ex wife refused to even allow access to my clothing and work tools. Me and a friend split a storage so I had a place to accumulate property until I could get a place. The lease was only in my friends name as I never signed a lease. One night it was raining and 40 degrees so I climbed in the unit and wrapped up in blankets. The following morning I was awakened at 6 to a yelling manager. She demanded I leave the the property. I apologized and explained my situation as well as letting her know I am a Veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan. She told me I could transfer the lease into my name and retain the unit. She even allowed me to do some work for her. I was not informed that work would require listening to lectures about my poor decision making investing money I made into a trucks repairs that ended up requiring more spending. Upset I explained this to a friend, which when she realized I had been sleeping outside while saving money, she offered for me to tow my truck to her garage and allowed me to have shelter while fixing my truck. The manager, upset I refused to complete the work I was doing, quickly posted an eviction notice due to violation of lease agreement. Which I didn't even sign until after i had slept in the unit. I was sleeping outside in the rain at night and by day doing labor for her. As no rent was due, and I had violated no agreement, I didn't know until after they sold my personal property. I realize I shouldn't have slept there but it's hard to resist when homeless in February. This manager is named Debbie. Until you have been in my situation, you have no idea of its difficulty. Doing everything by yourself with already having bills. I finally finished getting enough to pay deposit and rent after sleeping outside for 11 months. Don't rent from them. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Bay Mini Warehouses-Storage - 900 26th Street West has to offer. These amenities include Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Security Camera and Gate. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
