Laquette location manager is wonderful. I have been here over the last 5 year her customer service has been very great and she is definitely a people’s person. Love her, definitely recommend this property. She always ready to help when I need it ... Read more

Update: Public Storage stated they would refund me but sent me $0.00 back in their refund. I paid $179. They emailed me that they would reimburse me $179. I received $0.00 today with a note stating “pending $179”. I’ve attached screenshots below. No one picks up the phone when I call the office. Can you please send me my refund? I had a move-out scheduled for April 24th. I left the unit vacant, spotless, and ready for inspection. Despite having my move-out date on file, no one from this company bothered to contact me on the 24th—or any day after—to let me know they couldn’t access the unit because a lock was still on the door. Instead of a simple courtesy call to resolve a minor oversight, they waited and slapped me with a $179 charge. When I called to resolve this, I had the misfortune of speaking with Laquette. She was easily the most unprofessional and rude customer service representative I have ever encountered. Rather than helping, she threatened to send me to collections if I didn't pay immediately. When I asked to speak with someone higher up, she "offered" to connect me and then deliberately hung up the phone. She then ignored my subsequent attempts to call back. I have since paid the $179 just to protect my credit from their predatory tactics, but this is an unacceptable way to treat customers. If you value your money and your sanity, stay far away from this place. If you do have the misfortune of calling in, pray you don't get stuck with Laquette. Bottom line: They would rather extort a fee out of you than pick up the phone for a 30-second status update. Highly unprofessional. ... Read more

Netta assisted my very professionally and always had a smile on her face. She showed me the unit I was about to rent and that’s the reason I finalized the rental. Thank you Netta! Unfortunately I went there yesterday and the lady that was in the office was extremely rude, totally unprofessional. Rude like the rudiest person on earth. She was playing on her cellphone, didn't even want to look at me while talking, always on defensive mode. I also realize there are homeless people living in the units. I don't feel safe going there by myself, since my unit is far from the entrance. ... Read more

I am writing with serious concern regarding my storage unit C484, which I have been using for over a year. Upon arriving recently, I discovered that my unit has been changed without any prior notice or authorization. The original unit C484 is no longer in place, and I have no information about the location of my belongings. I have tried to get in contact with staff, but no one has responded. This situation is unacceptable, and I am requesting immediate clarification. I urgently request the following: 1. A clear explanation of what happened to unit C484. 2. The exact location of my belongings and the unit they have been moved to. 3. Immediate access to my items. ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
