My wife couldn’t get the door open and Jason saw she was having trouble, came over and showed my wife how to open it. Sprayed the door and works like a charm. My wife was very impressed with his level of customer service and how clean everything was. ... Read more

If I could give more stars, I would! Ebony was incredibly helpful, patient, and persistent. When the computer said “no,” she found a way to say “yes.” She went above and beyond to make things work for me, and honestly, I think she moved mountains (or at least shifted a few storage ones). Great customer service and such a kind attitude—I really appreciated her help! ... Read more

I’ve rented a lot of storage spaces over the years and this is by far the cleanest facility I’ve ever seen. Jason showed me where my unit was and helped with turning my tuck around safely. I highly recommend public storage. ... Read more

If I could give this place ZERO stars right now I would ! Since being taken over by Public Storage there is no local management , no one on-site and absolutely no customer service !!! I vacated my unit via setting move out date on the app 9/25/23. Last access through gate 9/24/23. Pulled up door to show clean and empty unit. As of today, 10/15, I’m still getting past due balance notices and threatened with auctioning off a bunch of empty space . I’ve spoken to their useless overseas customer service people 4 times since vacating. Each one saying I’ll hear back in 24-48 hours after they get someone out to verify my unit has actually been vacated and then oh they’ll “have to dispute the charge.” Thank God i took my payment off autopay before vacating. This is total Ineptitude and a very poor business model. Feels like it’s never going to be resolved Never again ! ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.

To open your storage unit door, start by unlocking it, whether it uses a traditional padlock or a Bluetooth-enabled smart lock. Once unlocked, grab the bottom handle and lift or pull up the roll-up door until it’s fully open.

If you’re using the unit for the first time, make sure the lock is properly removed before opening the door to avoid damage.

Security helps protect your belongings while they’re in storage and gives you peace of mind between visits. Many self storage facilities use a combination of features such as video surveillance, gated access, on-site management, and well-lit premises to help deter unauthorized access.

At Public Storage - 9275 South US Highway 441, available security amenities may include Security Camera, Gate, designed to help keep your items protected.

Yes, most standard vehicles can be stored in self storage units. A 10x20 unit typically provides enough space for a car, while outdoor or designated parking areas may be available for larger vehicles.

For safety reasons, most self storage facilities restrict certain items. These commonly include:

    • Hazardous, flammable, or toxic materials
    • Perishable food
    • Live plants or animals
    • Cash, firearms, or irreplaceable valuables
