Big edit: I received a phone call from the district manager East Coast his name is Brian very concerned about my reviews. Also concerned how I was treated being hung up on by one of his employees. after speaking with him for about 20 to 30 minutes. My initial complaint along with a few others were taken care of. Like he said all it takes is the time to listen to the customer and most times the issue can be resolved. Unfortunately, the employee was maybe having a bad day and hopefully she will learn from this and remember you leave your problems at the door very lucky that Brian got in contact with me, and I am very thankful. Hopefully everything we spoke about and agreed upon works out. Thank you, Brian for taking the time on a Saturday afternoon to address my concerns. If anything changes, I will update my review again. Hopefully we are in the clear. Thanks again Brian. I have been with crappy public storage for many years. Living 1300 miles away for a little 5 / 10 unit. They cut my lock off years back. I paid a $50 fee for one of their locks, and yet they are calling every single month, hounding me to pay them more money. Absolutely. The worst. when I call tonight to explain that to the lady, she got mad and hung up on me. Because oh my God my voice was raised, didn't swear, didn't cuss. Didn't even insult her tried to explain the situation and she hangs up on me. I'm gonna tell you by far Palm Bay. Public storage is the worst. They are rude obnoxious, and they will hound you until the end of time. Stay far away from this place. They do not listen, they do not respect their customers. Call me back next time. I'll give you a reason to hang up on me. ... Read more

Nothing but issues since I rented my climate controlled unit only to have rude customer service (when u can reach someone) and on top of it all I was gonna let it slide that there’s issues with my unit, spiders, smell of mold, but I got it on sale so wasn’t trying to make to much of a big deal. When I moved in at end of November mold wasn’t to much of issue but as it gets warmer it smells moldyer and they added another vent or ac tube to air it, then I get a email that there gonna raise my rent almost $50 bucks next month but when I look online there selling my size unit on sale for what I’m paying now or less, idk what scams y’all are pulling but this is absolutely ridiculous, you don’t take care of your facility but you wanna charge people more after 3 months of renting here, becareful anyone who rents from here, I’m not the only one who’s had issues. ... I did an online rental and it was quick and easy. Met with Marjory in the office and she was sweet, knowledgeable and took her time with me answering all of my questions. She was very welcoming, took me to my unit and demonstrated the proper way to secure my unit. I was even able to vent to her about why I am storing and was a good ear to listen and very encouraging. I will tell everyone I know about my experience and to rent with Public Storage because of her. ... Read more

Title: Severe Mold Issue Due to Unresolved Leaks at Public Storage Review: I am utterly disappointed and compelled to warn others about the serious issues I encountered at Public Storage. What was supposed to be a secure climate-controlled space to store my belongings turned into a nightmare due to poor facility maintenance. Upon visiting my storage unit, I discovered that water had leaked inside, a problem I had not been forewarned about by the management. This leakage was not a recent issue, as evidenced by the extensive mold growth on my items, which have now been irreparably damaged. The presence of mold is not only a serious health hazard but also signifies a long-standing neglect of basic upkeep by the facility’s staff. Despite multiple complaints, the response from Public Storage’s management was lackluster. They displayed a concerning lack of urgency and responsibility in addressing the water leakage and preventing further damage. It is unacceptable for customers to pay for a service that jeopardizes the safety and integrity of their possessions. Future customers should be wary. The management here shows little regard for property care and customer service. If you value your belongings and wish to keep them safe and intact, I strongly recommend seeking a different storage facility. FYI - the 70.5 reading is the humidity in the unit. Rating: 1 out of 5 stars ... Read more

These amenities include Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Credit Cards Accepted, Elevators, First Floor Access, Multi-Level Storage and Online Payment. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Public Storage - 4630 Babcock Street NE can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 25 to 200 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Public Storage - 4630 Babcock Street NE come at a variety of prices, starting from $44 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $181 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
