Read some helpful reviews of Laird Street Self Storage at 7221 Laird Street, shared by real renters with genuine experiences and honest opinions.

Ownership is very rude and not pleasant to do business with. We have been here three years, never paid late and have reached a point that we can't deal with ownership anymore. FYI "Laird Street Storage & Pac & Stac storage are the same business. Notwithstanding, no substantial improvements, poor maintenance, weeds are growing in the drive isles, our unit leeks water, standing water sits in the worn drive isles after it rains, poor lighting and fences are falling over. ... Moved out after nearly 10 years without issues. After Hurricane Michael, the owner retired and sold the business. The new owners said that they had great plans but very little improved. The manager became very foul tempered and disrespectful, calling us liars about speaking with them about rent and fees. Stay clear! ... Read more

The new owner has put a lot of money into the property. Does her best to always maintain a safe environment for customers. Personally she has gone above and beyond before for me and I'm sure she has with many others and is always fair, highly recommend. ... Read more

The new owner of this place is out of control. We used this facility to store our boat. They provide a hose to do fresh water rinses to clean the salt water off you boat when you return. First day we were rinsing she rushes out and grabs the hose and rudely informs us this is for washing the engine only because she doesn’t want the place smelling fishy....????? Next day she comes out and tells us we can’t do any washing two days in a row....???? A friend that was with me dropping off the boat washed the salt from his arms and legs and she lost her mind...After several more complaints and new rules she came up with, she told me she was rich and that she didn’t need my buisiness. At this point we exchanged unpleasant words and I am now banned from the property. The way she acted we figured she must be on some serious drugs. Beware if you decide to do business here. These 5 star ratings has got to be from the previous owners I've had the displeasure of meeting the so called "new management or new ownership" of this storage unit and it blows my mind how a business owner treats their customer. They were extremely rude and disrespectful I'm sorry but all these 5 star ratings this location has it had to of come from family and friends or they are paid reviews. This lady was rude to the point that I am currently taking my items out of this storage and am willing to pay significantly more for a storage unit that has manners and knows how to speak to another human being and knows how to treat their customers. I also am a business owner and a reputable one and I would NEVER speak to my customers the way this woman spoke to me and my friend. They are judgemental and have 0 morals and 0 manners if you do business with them I really hope you store things that you could care less about she will threaten to lock your unit up even if you are up to date on your unit without batting an eyelash just because she says she can. It's her property and she does how she sees fit regardless of what's right or wrong and regardless if its YOUR items or not. If I could give this a -5 stars I would. DO BUSINESS HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. ... Read more

Used to be a decent place...with nice people working there. I rented a unit a year or so ago. Never any problems. Now, apparently they have new owners as of May of this year. People were extremely rude. I’ll take my business elsewhere. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Laird Street Self Storage - 7221 Laird Street has to offer. These amenities include Climate-Controlled, Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Onsite Manager, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted, Online Payment and RV Storage. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Laird Street Self Storage - 7221 Laird Street can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 50 to 360 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Laird Street Self Storage - 7221 Laird Street come at a variety of prices, starting from $70 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $130 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
