I just moved into my unit today. Lovely, well-maintained and managed facility. Respectfully, it would be wonderful if wheeled carts were available to help with move in/move out. Just be sure to bring your own if you have one. Jennifer the store manager helped me with the process and she gave me such a warm welcome and memorable conversation. I’ll always want to visit with her when I go to my unit! ... Read more

Hi Alexis, Brian and I want to thank you again for going above and beyond the call of duty to rescue us from being abandoned by the moving company that was hired to help us move into a storage unit. As you know, they arrived at your facility, but decided they did not want to do the job they were assigned to complete by their employer, and left. This left me with no help to unload the truck. I had driven 100 miles to your location. It was already mid afternoon. A severe snowstorm was coming the next day. We sold our home and had to move our belongings into your storage facility. I did not know what I was going to do. Then, you took over and saved the day! You made several calls to try to find someone who could help unload on very short notice. You also took the initiative to ask the landscape crew if they could help. It was like the cavalry arrived! Words cannot say enough about how much you cared about what happened to me and how much you wanted to help. Your support meant the world to me. It’s nice to know there are people like you out there willing to help a stranger through a crisis. We look forward to relocating to Clarkesville, especially if others are as nice as you. We look forward to seeing you again as we enter and exit the facility. Seeing you will always bring a smile to my face in appreciation for what you did. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Brian McGinnis. ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.
