Save yourself from a headache and do not rent from here. We rented a unit online on Friday August 1st. It was super easy to pay them money but not so easy to get into our unit. They never sent the code to get into the unit itself. We called.. no answer.. we emailed.. no answer. Now it is Monday August 4th.. still no lock code and I have been on hold with their automated system for the last 12 minutes. I tried their chat.. it just sends automatic messages and does not help. There is no one on site to speak to to solve issues… over just a huge pain and not worth it. ... Read more

Have been a customer at this location for 6 years. Initially, I could walk from my residence on Bobo to the office to pay my bill. I was never late and soon was able to just call the office (manned by human beings) and authorize payment on my Social Security Direct Express debit card, which they had on file. This card is honored by the highest bank in the land, the Federal Reserve Bank and gets repopulated on the 3rd of every month. Due to some ridiculous "automated" rule focused strictly on payment by the 1st, I cannot benefit from autopay discount by paying on the 3rd. Today, I cannot contact a human being to make payment but get directed via phone to access some "portal" to further my efforts. Instead of feeling assured that my property is being properly cared for, feels more like a coin operated laundry room where my clothes are just remnants on the floor. As disabled and retired, I cannot casually rent and drive a truck to remove my items from this ludicrous presumption of a storage facility. And yes, this is the 4th, a day AFTER my Direct Express Social Security card has been repopulated and still NO response from this office. Perhaps they are ignoring me so they can collect a late fee. (I have NEVER been late in my many attempts to pay) Is this the essence of what one elderly human being might deem a bad joke? The answer is YES...and, of course, it's not even remotely funny! Somebody call me so I can pay this infernal bill! I also have property at M.S. Gobers in Dallas, Ga., manned by Steve. He is an old acquaintance from when I lived in one of the historic homes on Confederate Ave. In Dallas, Ga.. The property is well maintained and has climate controlled units. Steve is always there and will give you a traditional & courteous storage experience. As soon as able, I will save about $100 per month by moving contents from Storage Depot to a larger unit at M.S.Gober. Tell him Ed W. sent you. Finally, it seems sort of a DEFAMATION to penalize a customer by denying the benefit of AUTOPAY simply because the clients regular income comes 1-2 days after the the 1ST of each month. Wonder what the U.S Treasury Dept, which distributes my source of income on the 3rd of every month, would think about discrimination & penalties incurred due to the government's fund distribution dates. ... THIS PLACE IS THE WORST STORAGE FACILITY I HAVE EVER USED!! I have used several storage facilities over the span of almost 10 years and I’ve literally never had these issues with any other place. I’ve been charged for insurance through them several months in a row when I sent via email (and then proved I sent it) the coverage I already had for it. I had to call every month to continue to remove it. Then they make you pay a $10 convenience fee for processing a corrected payment when it’s free online (they claim they cannot correct it online). Lastly, when I finally agree to set up auto payment with a representative, it was never started so I had to call AGAIN to argue a late fee for thinking it was supposed to be set up. And let’s not mention how they give you a great entry price and then send you notices that their prices are going up. I now pay nearly double of what my entry price was and itll be a year this month. Nobody is actually present at this place so the only people you can talk to is a third party customer rep. SO ANNOYED! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! ... Read more
