The ease and access to this facility was definitely at the top of my list! Moving can already be stressful so from being able to reserve and rent and go straight to my unit all in basically one step remotely is fantastic! I definitely recommend and am considering using this facility for business overflow purposes! ... Read more

Setting up my rental was easy; the prices seem competitive with (or lower than) other places nearby; and the site is clean and secure. We've been here a few months now and are still happy with this location. ... Read more

I am SO disappointed with this service. When I signed up it said the unit I was purchasing was $75 for the first 2 months. Then $153 after that. Well my second payment went to $95, and the 3rd payment jumped to $175. I called multiple times being on hold for up to TWO AND A HALF HOURS! Have never gotten an live person to correct this issue. I will be canceling this account and taking my business elsewhere. ?????? I'll gladly remove this review if the issue gets fixed. ... Read more

Great Customer service, reasonable prices, good promos, Very Clean, 1st floor cooler than lots of other places, 24 hr access, nice area, security cameras on each isle, loading dock is a plus, double wide glass door makes moving In & out lot easier. I wish they had bathrooms inside for customers. Yes. My agent Amy was excellent and She resolved all my issues & went extra mile to do the best customer service. :) ?? ... Read more

I bought a storage unit over a year ago and I was paying $40 when I first got it and that was so affordable. Ever since then the prices have increased multiple times on me and I'm now about to pay $90 for my unit now. That's just crazy and absurd for one unit especially for the price I was paying at first. It's a great place, but they're scamming me at this point with their prices. I will be moving onto better and more affordable. ... Read more

I can say the facility is clean and easy to find. However, starting with my booking agent did not make me aware that this facility was self-service, not having a human body on site upon arrival. Nor, was I made aware that I would need rental insurance @ 11.99 monthly for On the day of my move, a rude, unfriendly, and$1,000 coverage. While driving to the facility an unprofessional agent contacted me. Toward the end of our conversation, Caleb hung up the phone on me and stated that he was going to cancel my reservation because I was not ready to book it with him without seeing the size first, as I explained to him. He was very aggressive and mean-spirited in my opinion. I drove over an hour not knowing if he had canceled before my arrival. I was able to call and reschedule another reservation. When I arrived, I had to call 5 times to ask for help getting into the building. Once I was able to get in, I had issues with opening the lock. That was another 4 times calling. Not to mention that the service for using your cell phone is horrible too. The parties on the other end could not hear me if I were in the building, so my calls had to be made outside, which didn't help while trying to open the lock. Finally, I got on my computer the next day to receive an invoice for the next month's payment, unbelievable!! Only one day had gone by. It did not show my next month's rent being free like the promotion stated. Today, I will have to call again to get the matter resolved. I also would like less contact with my cell phone via text or email. It's overwhelming. I will continue to utilize the facility for the next several months because of the location and the cleanliness. Hopefully, you will do your best to prevent these types of mishaps for new potential customers because I was ready to cancel my reservation after dealing with your company calling multiple times. This is a follow-up. I have gone back to the storage a couple of times with absolutely no issues. Thank goodness. Michelle Bradshaw ... Read more

    Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.

The facility at 848 Dailey Mill Road offers 24/7 access, allowing you to visit your unit at your convenience.

To open your storage unit door, start by unlocking it, whether it uses a traditional padlock or a Bluetooth-enabled smart lock. Once unlocked, grab the bottom handle and lift or pull up the roll-up door until it’s fully open.

If you’re using the unit for the first time, make sure the lock is properly removed before opening the door to avoid damage.

Security helps protect your belongings while they’re in storage and gives you peace of mind between visits. Many self storage facilities use a combination of features such as video surveillance, gated access, on-site management, and well-lit premises to help deter unauthorized access.

At 10 Federal Self Storage - 848 Dailey Mill Road, available security amenities may include Security Camera, designed to help keep your items protected.

Yes, most standard vehicles can be stored in self storage units. A 10x20 unit typically provides enough space for a car, while outdoor or designated parking areas may be available for larger vehicles.
