Jeff helped me through the whole process, he is patient, efficient and kind. I won’t be able to give a thorough review at this time as I am out of state and only today rented a unit. However, with the help of people like Jeff, I would say the storage is a place. I would definitely recommend. ... Read more

I thought this was an ok place, a little spendy and horrible hours as far as being able to get into your storage when you needed to for the price but I needed something at the last min amd this was the closest. Up until I was in my storage one day after paying someone to reorganize it after just throwing everything in there real fast and this happened right after I had surgery . So I was getting some of my kids bags and some things I needed for work and clothes. Of course I didn't know where everything was sense it just got reorganized and the management knew this so it took me a few to find what I needed and when I did I didn't want it to be all over my car so I put it all in one bag of mine and of course I have a chair and table in there sense the items are from my home I store so as I sit down to put all the items in my bag I hear a man's voice yell at me " what are you doing in here!?!" I told him what I was doing and I hadn't even been there long at all and I had the door to where I could close it with out having to reach over my head to wrap my stitches and am alot shorter than this man was, the door was not down all the way it was more than half up but not all the way up because I can't reach that far and couldn't because of my stitches from surgery. So he takes the door and yells at me and throws it all the way up aggressively and said he had cameras on me and watching me all the time and I looked shady. I was there by myself and I wasn't doing anything nor did he catch me doing anything either .I don't do drugs or drink or am not living in my storage obviously so I don't know what he meant by that. After he accused me and yelled at me and pulled the door all the way up and left I gathered my things as fast as I could and when I tried to close my door I couldn't reach it to close ,I was not as tall as him and so it tried so hard and ended up ripping my stitches . He then called the next day and told another customer that I was shady. I pay my rent on time and have never did anything illegal or even been there that much but I don't feel that was professional at all and if I had a truck I'd move out today treated like a criminal instead of a tenant of a storage unit is horrible and I'm in a horrible medical condition now because of what he did . It's not ok. I don't recommend this place at all after how I was treated and the things they said behind my back even .I give them negative stars. ... Read more

Went by today not knowing the office closed at 6 until we walked up and saw the time. The person working was standing at the front door and opened it asking how he could help. When I said we were just driving by and wanted to get a general idea of pricing and availability he was rude to us for showing up right before closing and told us he would not answer those questions two minutes before closing. I understand that having a potential customer show up right before closing is frustrating, and we were not trying to keep him there past 6, but we just wanted a couple quick answers. There are too many other options than to have to deal with a place that does not have a basic level of kindness in their interactions with customers. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Stor-N-Lock Self Storage - 1250 South Orchard Street has to offer. These amenities include Indoor, Drive-Up Access, Retail Available, Onsite Manager, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Parking, Credit Cards Accepted and Online Payment. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Stor-N-Lock Self Storage - 1250 South Orchard Street can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 25 to 300 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Stor-N-Lock Self Storage - 1250 South Orchard Street come at a variety of prices, starting from $65 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $394 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
