I can't say enough good things about Vacationland. From the moment we walked through the door, the entire team made us feel like family. The sales staff was knowledgeable, patient, and never made us feel pressured. They took the time to answer every question honestly and helped us find the right camper for our needs instead of just trying to make a sale.
The team that handled the sales paperwork was fantastic as well. They made the entire process simple, efficient, and stress-free. Everything was explained clearly, and they made sure we were comfortable with every step before moving forward.
What really sets Vacationland apart is the service department and shop team. The technicians took the time to walk us through the camper, explain how everything worked, answer our questions, and make sure we were comfortable operating everything before we left. Their knowledge, patience, and attention to detail gave us a great deal of confidence as first-time owners.
Throughout the entire experience, everyone was honest, transparent, friendly, and genuinely focused on helping us. There was never any pressure or sales gimmicks—just good people who clearly care about their customers and take pride in what they do.
Buying a camper is a major purchase, but Vacationland made it an enjoyable experience from start to finish. The entire staff, from sales to the paperwork team to the service department, worked together to create an outstanding customer experience. We first met Joel Zytko, Vacationland Sales Manager, at an RV tradeshow after we found a travel trailer that was the perfect fit for our family. I placed a $5 down payment and was able to hold the price with that. No one pressured us or made us feel the need to get in touch right away. Joel called later that week and was kind and thoughtful. I placed a larger down payment to hold the camper for over a month as I had surgery scheduled and needed time before I could make it in to finalize. They held it no problems, answered our questions, and got all the paperwork ready when I reached out and gave the word. Again, no pressure, no calls.
When we arrived at the dealership to finalize the deal it was a wonderful experience with the team. Everyone we worked with was incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire process. We never felt pressured, and all of our questions were answered thoroughly and honestly.
It’s rare to find a team that truly cares about their customers the way yours does. The whole experience was smooth, transparent, and actually enjoyable. Thank you for being such good people and providing such great customer service — we really appreciate it!

Everyone at Vacationland was fantastic! Joel, the salesman we worked with, was very responsive. He answered any question I had through email over the course of about a month. I originally emailed him about a used popup, and he treated me like I was going to be buying a 100k trailer. Everyone in the service department was also fantastic, ensuring we fully understood our purchase and how to take care of it. They even got my car all set up and walked me through the process. My family and I would strongly recommend that anyone looking for a true RV buying experience contact and visit their location in Big Rock, Illinois.
The sales, finance, parts counter and shop staff are amazingly friendly, professional and easy to do business with. There is NO pressure and the customer is always in control of the buying process. I found the exact trailer that I wanted and Vacationland had it on their lot. I drove from Oregon to Illinois for this particular trailer. Everyone went above my expectations to get this trailer financed and prepared so that I arrived and was out on the road, back to Oregon, in a very short time. We had a fantastic experience at Vacationland! My husband first spoke with Noah on the phone about a trailer, and we arranged to visit on a Saturday. We arrived early to browse, and Noah was very attentive, taking the time to listen to what we were looking for. He showed us several options, and even if he didn’t have the answers to our questions, he knew exactly who to ask.
After viewing many units, we ultimately decided to purchase the original trailer we had come from out of state to see. We spent a few enjoyable hours selecting some extras to be installed, and the process was smooth and stress-free. Initially, we thought we wouldn’t be able to return for two weeks to pick up our new trailer, but when we needed to move the date up by a week, Vacationland made it happen without any hassle.

Well I went to my local RV show and checked out all the campers, I wanted something small and easy to pull, Vacationland had an Aliner Scout that was perfect for my needs, Joel Zytko the Sales rep was very helpful and knowledgeable, Vacationland has what you need to get started on your new adventure they have the parts and service just ask for Mike he'll help you out and get you on your way.
