This is the state of affairs at this location, and nobody can give me the time of day. My lock piece pictured is the one with two locks. My lock was cut off (not be the company) and replaced with the thieves who presumably wanted everything still in there when he came back for the rest. I put on a second in hopes to salvage anything that may be left. I'm told not to cut off the thieves lock, but yet I can't get someone out there to give me the ok or cut it off for me to either see what's gone or pull out what's not gone to salvage it before the thief returns. This location has no manager assigned to it, and I see no sign of cameras, at least not around my unit. I'm not a tool expert, but it appears they're taking a grinder and going clear through the metal pieces that hold the locks, leaving the locks useless, even if they're too strong to be cut off. ... I purchase storage auctions through a third party website. My experience with red dot storage was phenomenal. The initial customer support agents I dealt with were kind and professional. The auction department were transparent about sales and professional. Joel deserves a raise. Jerry/Gerry was great to work with as well. Please red dot, add the auction department to your automated tone system! Sometimes the CSA were wrong about when the auction department were available and it takes about 10 minutes to finally patch into the auction department. Having a direct line will speed up transactions and time sensitive questions. Thanks again Joel for being so awesome and kind. I look forward to working with red dot and Joel in the future! ... I was looking for a storage unit that was near my new home and red dot storage was right there on Pinecrest and very convenient. I was able to set up my account online and it was pretty easy and self-explanatory. I also got 50% off my first month so that was nice. They give you a code that you punch in when you get there to gain entry at the Gated storage unit. Upon exiting you just pull up close to the gate and it automatically opens. A couple times we pulled up to the storage unit the gate was stuck open so that was a little strange I'm not sure how often that happens but we've never seen any damage or evidence of any tampering. My only complaint is that the storage unit that we have has a handicap sticker on it and often our door actually gets stuck and we really have to mess with it to get it to open all of the way it's quite inconvenient because when it gets stuck it's only opened about four feet and it's very difficult to get open. But then a couple of times it's opened right up so those were nice situations of course. We only need the storage for one more month so I think we'll just deal with that in the meantime. But yeah besides that it's a nice storage unit you get a lot of space for the price and it's nice that it's off in its own little area. ... Read more

It's nice, clean and has a lot of variety for what size storage room you like. Can go inside and sign up for a storage area, pay for it as well as get a lock that is a rust proof outside lock, with a key cover to not rust up. Doors kept un working order, areas kept up inside and out. Fenced in for safety and gate code sent to number you provide on application, reduces break ins at night. Overall nice place. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

There is a wide array of amenities available for the storage units that Storage Rentals of America - 500 Pinecrest Drive has to offer. These amenities include Drive-Up Access, Contactless Renting, Security Camera, Gate, Unstaffed Location, First Floor Access and Online Payment. Most of these amenities can prove to be very useful depending on what you need to store. For example, climate-controlled units can come in handy for keeping sensitive items, drive-up access can make your loading and unloading process easier, and extra security measures will ensure your items are kept safe at all times.

The storage units offered by Storage Rentals of America - 500 Pinecrest Drive can satisfy all of your storage needs. Different sizes here range from 50 to 250 square feet. You can go for smaller units if you don't have a lot of items to store, while choosing a larger space is recommended in case you need to store a lot of furniture, bigger items or even vehicles.

The unit size that you should choose obviously depends on how much stuff you need to store. On the one hand, you should think of smaller units (5'x5' or 5'x10') as closets – they can be used to store chairs, lamps, moving boxes and sports equipment, along with smaller pieces of furniture, books and documents.

On the other hand, the 10'x10' and 10'x15' spaces are good for storing larger items of furniture, bicycles and a larger number of possessions. If you need even more space, then 10'x20' and 10'x30' units can easily accommodate the contents of an entire 3- or 4-bedroom house.

Storage units offered by Storage Rentals of America - 500 Pinecrest Drive come at a variety of prices, starting from $43 per month for typically smaller units. However, larger spaces can set you back up to $148 a month.

We know that when it comes to self storage, there is nothing more important than quickness and accessibility. Drive-up access is an extremely convenient amenity, as you can park your vehicle right next to your unit, making it significantly easier to load and unload the items you will use storage for. However, drive-up storage units tend to be outdoors, so you might consider indoor storage spaces with climate control if you're looking to keep temperature-sensitive items in peak condition.

Yes, you might, depending on what you need to put in storage. Climate-controlled spaces keep temperatures and humidity levels consistent all the time, which means they are perfect for storing sensitive items. Seeing that a whole host of things can be damaged by varying temperatures and excessive moisture, many people choose to rent climate-controlled units for personal items such as documents, photographs, paintings, collectibles, electronics, wooden furniture, antiques and even vehicles. If you're looking to store such items that are valuable to you, consider renting a climate-controlled unit!
