If I could give zero stars I would. My ex husband died unexpectedly. He had recently moved & put everything in storage. Most of it was still there. Pictures, kids things, important documents (maybe even a will-we didn't know but we know my kids birth certificates and the youngest social security card), things that are priceless. But also items he promised to my kids. And items that will hold no value to others but priceless to my kids & I. They insisted it had to go through probate. The only expenses he had were medical that were discharged with his death. There was no need for probate. My kids who were very young to have to deal with this -but over 18-spoke with police and an attorney. Both police and an attorney spoke with the owner. They got nowhere. So basically these people stole everything in his unit. BE VERY CAUTIOUS IF YOU STORE ANYTHING HERE!! I'D RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN! ... Read more

very unfriendly woman who answered. helpful about a month ago but I guess when they are full they aren't concerned with getting in contact with you or being friendly whatsoever. very hard to get a hold of and became verbally combative when informed that she promised to call a prospective customer back and then didn't. understanding that this is probably just a side business so when full not concerned with being polite to anyone who might want to check back later. better storage units are out there. ... Biggest mistake was getting a unit through them. In December they said my payment bounced even though when I talked to my bank they said it was taken out. I drop off $120 to keep my unit because if it was my end I wanted to make it right. Well come January they said they will switch my banking information but never did. Ran payments through BOTH of my accounts & still had the audacity to say I owe them $157. When I called the girl Peggy she hung up on me and was rude. Phil ignored my phone call and texted me. I cannot get them to make the account they weren't suppose to run right nor have I received my deposit back. There's other storage units not too far from there I advise to go to them! I get mistakes happen but as a company you make those mistakes right which they seem to have a problem with doing. I honestly didn't even want to give 1 star. ... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

The right storage unit size depends on what you plan to store and how much space you need to move around your items.

5x5 or 5x10 units are great for smaller loads, such as chairs, lamps, small furniture pieces, boxes, books, and documents.

10x10 or 10x15 units work well for larger furniture, bicycles, appliances, and the contents of a small apartment.

10x20 or 10x30 units can typically fit the contents of a three-bedroom home, including large furniture and multiple appliances.

If you’re unsure which size is best, a unit size calculator can help estimate the right fit based on the items you’re planning to store – helping you avoid paying for more space than you need.

Climate-controlled storage units maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels, helping protect items from damage caused by heat, cold, or excess moisture.

You may want climate control if you’re storing items that can be sensitive to temperature changes, such as furniture, clothing, appliances, paperwork, photographs, artwork, electronics, or wood and leather goods. These units are especially useful for long-term storage or in areas with hot summers, cold winters, or high humidity.

If you’re storing durable items like tools or outdoor gear, a standard unit may be sufficient. When in doubt, climate control offers added protection and peace of mind.

The facility at 710 King Drive offers 24/7 access, allowing you to visit your unit at your convenience.

To open your storage unit door, start by unlocking it, whether it uses a traditional padlock or a Bluetooth-enabled smart lock. Once unlocked, grab the bottom handle and lift or pull up the roll-up door until it’s fully open.

If you’re using the unit for the first time, make sure the lock is properly removed before opening the door to avoid damage.

Security helps protect your belongings while they’re in storage and gives you peace of mind between visits. Many self storage facilities use a combination of features such as video surveillance, gated access, on-site management, and well-lit premises to help deter unauthorized access.

Yes, most standard vehicles can be stored in self storage units. A 10x20 unit typically provides enough space for a car, while outdoor or designated parking areas may be available for larger vehicles.

For safety reasons, most self storage facilities restrict certain items. These commonly include:

  • Hazardous, flammable, or toxic materials
  • Perishable food
  • Live plants or animals
  • Cash, firearms, or irreplaceable valuables

Always check with the facility at 710 King Drive for specific restrictions and recommendations.
